My Mate Is A Human
Chapter 41

-What? But that’s three days away. his sister claims.

-It’s for the best. Shery can’t make it to Blue Moon.

-But it’s a long and dangerous trip, dad won’t accept it.

-I’ll go with you. JB sentences.

-Oh no! -What about me?

-You stay. Orders JB.

-I told you not to order me anything.

The boys had set off into the forest as they planned what they would do. But JB and his sister as much as they loved each other never agreed on anything.

-Enough. JB will accompany me, and you Megan will get clothes and food to take with you. You will stay and explain everything to daddy. You will also tell him the hiding place of that Alpha. I’ll drop Shery off up north and then come back and kill the bastard.

-You’re crazy Ethan. Dad won’t let you. I’m going too, no matter what they say.

-Megan, this is…

-Yeah, it’s dangerous, so what? -I’ll go. Shery won’t stay up north alone while you guys are gone. Someone has to go with her.

And after much discussion, they agreed to take Megan, who went to get clothes and food for the trip. In order to get there faster, they transformed into wolves and Shery climbed on Ethan’s back with all the fear in the world. Then they set off on their journey.

Daren’s sleek black car parked at his quirky mansion, and he got out, happy that one of his business ventures was going well. Soon he would have the albino in his possession to father his child, and if that wasn’t enough happiness, he would enjoy Shery’s delicious body all night long. He entered his house and went straight upstairs to the bedroom, which he found empty.

-Shery! he called. -F*****g bitch! SHERYYYYYYYYYY. he shouted angrily.

The fury rose from his feet to his head exploding a great rage in his system, right there he transformed into a huge wolf which growled like the beast he was. He was out of his mind, he was not rational. It destroyed everything in its path, the whole room was in ruins. Daren jumped from the window of the room, shattering the glass.

He fell to the ground, raised his snout and sniffed the air. He was looking for her, it would not be difficult to replace her. But it wasn’t. She had escaped, but he couldn’t smell her from there. But you didn’t have to be a genius to know where she was going. He went through the forest, and instantly all the boys came to him. He instructed them to replace her. He was furious, he would kill her.

The wolves scattered in search of the human. But he, personally, would go to that damned village. There he would replace her and kill everyone who lived there. Driven by rage he walked down the road like a savage, after several minutes he reached the village of the Blue Moon pack but something strange happened. She was not there.

Wolf’s damned servant wasn’t there either, they were together which caused Daren’s brain to short-circuit. Jealousy swirled through his whole being. He watched the town from a safe distance, to make sure she wasn’t there. But indeed she wasn’t. He had taken her elsewhere. He had taken her elsewhere. He would murder every watchman in his damned house.

The four boys had been running for several hours without stopping, Shery was exhausted as she rode on Ethan’s back. It was strange to be riding on top of the guy you like in the form of a huge black dog. It was the first time she had seen him and she was quite surprised when he transformed. In fact she almost fainted at the sight of him. He was almost the same size as Daren.

He felt Ethan slow down, those wolves could run very fast. They stopped at a small stream where the three of them drank some water, Shery took the opportunity to get out. She needed to get a drink of water and go to the bathroom. But when she did Ethan or well the wolf growled at her showing his teeth.

-Hey, don’t growl at me. I’m just going to the bathroom.

The wolf ducked his ears and made puppy dog eyes. He was adorable, there was no denying it, but he was intimidating with those big blue eyes and those fangs protruding from his snout. She ran into some bushes but the brown she-wolf stopped her by growling at her too. Tired of his growls she didn’t understand.

-I don’t understand anything you want, I’m not a dog, yes. You must talk to me. He says to the three of them. -I said I’m going to the bathroom.

Megan returns to normal being completely naked in front of everyone. Shery a little embarrassed looks away.

-You can’t go to the bathroom and leave your spit on the way. It’s best you do it in the stream. The water will dissolve your smell.

-I understand! says the blushing girl. -Everyone should turn away.

-Very well. Once ready, they set off at a brisk pace. At this rate they would be in the north within three days.

Daren waited for answers from his boys, sent them looking everywhere. He was still in his wolf form deep in the forest. Night had come many hours ago and he grew more and more impatient. Many wolves came and brought him no news of her. And that frustrated him.

And if that wasn’t enough, the albino was also missing. All his plans were going to shit. His only heat was coming up and he didn’t have the albino with him, if he didn’t get her pregnant by that day he would never be able to. He was so focused on Shery that he didn’t realise he was asking for time to get the calf out of the herd.

Even if she didn’t want to, she had to get back to Lucian, her damned father. He hated to have to keep consulting with him, but the damn old man wouldn’t just give him information. If he could kill him he would have done it years ago, but he was too powerful to touch a hair on his head.

He got up and ran in the direction of the old man’s territories. Some of his boys followed him, they weren’t that fast but he knew they were following him. An hour later he arrived and returned to his human form, he could not present himself as a wolf, it would indicate that he was not in peace.

-Daren, Daren! I told you I don’t want to see you on my lands.

-Will you never receive your son properly?

-Yes. -That day will come, when I am proud of your progress. But as long as you remain impregnated with that human, you will never be welcome in my domain.

Damn old man, he always knew everything that was going on around him and without even leaving the damn cave. He knew where Shery was headed.

-What does it take to be worthy of your respect?

-As if that matters to you! -What do you want?

-Tell me where the human is.

-And I thought you thought you held all the territories. You come to me, looking for information. What about your wolves?

-That’s none of your business, just answer what I need to know.

-So, the girl came out slippery. The old man laughed out loud.

He rose from his chair and walked toward his son, smiling mockingly at him. Daren didn’t even move from the spot. He wasn’t afraid of his father, well, if you could call that a father.

-It’s funny how you’re obsessed with that human. It will lead to your death, Daren. And I will enjoy it.

-I can imagine! Tell me what I need.

-She’s in good company, at least that’s the last I heard of her and her friends. She left my lands. And the truth is, I don’t know where she’s going.

He stood in front of his son with his eyes fixed on those of the boy in front of him. They possessed that characteristic glint of his that indicated he was about to lose his patience. Lucian found it fascinating to watch his idiot son lose his head.

-You’re lying!

-Believe what you want. But I’ll tell you one thing, your rut is very close and you still don’t have an albino she-wolf.

-That worries you too much, I don’t give a shit if I have an heir.

The old man grabbed his son’s neck and lifted him a few inches off the ground. His eyes were injected with b***d red, while his fangs slowly protruded.

-Damn ungrateful son! I’m warning you, you’ll get that damn puppy no matter what, a*****e.

The man possessed so much strength that Daren himself couldn’t break free of his grip. Fingernails dug into his flesh, drawing drops of b***d that ran down his bare skin.

-Let me go, you old fucker.

-If I replace out that you let the heat pass you by because you were looking after that human, I’ll kill her personally.

-If you touch her, you’ll… -What will you do to me?

-What will you do to me? You don’t have the strength to touch a hair on my head.

Daren knew he was right, he was no match for his father. He still didn’t understand why he wished he had a son. The old man let go of his collar and turned away from the boy to return to his post.

-Why do you wish me to have a son?

-You must continue the legacy. He answered dryly.

-You have many years, and I have never met anyone else who is your direct descendant.

-Dedicate yourself to fathering a son, Daren. Or else I will kill the girl.

-Where is she?

-I told you, they’ve left my domain. -You’ve left my domain. Now get out of here, you’re annoying me. He said with annoyance.
