My Mate Is A Witch -
Chapter 127
FLASHBACK
“I won the bet. I told you that if you would come here without me by your side, then all women would surely try to throw themselves at you. After all, you’re so famous and rich, Artemis.”
“I promise, from now onwards, I will never ever leave your side. And just because I lost the bet, I’m all yours till eternity.”
*
“Knock, knock,” he muttered softly.
“Who’s there?”
“Bee.”
“Bee, who?”
“Would you be mine?” He asked, caressing her cheeks with his thumb, knowing very well how much she enjoyed touching him.
“Yes, I will be yours.”

On the other side!!
Caroline was sitting at the peak of the mountain and thinking about everything. She had shut Shaba’s mouth, who was continuously asking her to go back to Artemis, and was crying, ruining all her makeup. In the first few hours, she was pissed at everyone who betrayed her and planned never to return back to them, but as time passed and her mind started working, which had stopped working because of anger before.
She recalled how dad fell in love with his enemies’ daughter even though he didn’t want to and also because, along with that, her mother was always the innocent one there. In the same way, how could she get mad at that mother who loved and treated her like her own child even when her mother’s father was the villain to her?
Wasn’t it wrong to get punish someone else for a crime that they never did? It was neither her mother’s choice that she got such an evil father, nor was it Artemis’s fault that his mother wasn’t a good person.
‘But they still hid the truth from me? Why did no one tell me about it?’
She fumed in anger again at thinking this.
But this mistake of theirs was so big that she would punish them by breaking all the ties with them? In that way, wasn’t she the one who hid everything from Artemis, but he never… never left her for that. Not just that, she even hid the truth of her marriage with Artemis from her parents, but they didn’t break the tie with her.

On the other side!!
“Arti, now let’s go to the room now. It looks like it is going to rain anytime. The weather changed all of a sudden.”
“I’m not going anywhere, Dad. Sarah won’t feel good when she would arrive here and wouldn’t see me here, waiting for her. So, I will stay here even if it will start raining.” Artemis said in determination.
“Arti, Enough now; Caroline is….”
“She is coming,” Sophia said, in between wiping her tears happily. Artemis looked at her hopefully, wanting to hear the same word again, “Your trust in her won, Son. She is coming.”
“Thank God, all these incidents gave me a vibe of intense climax,” Tiara said in excitement. “Guys, let’s call all the guests because the wedding is finally happening.”
“It will start raining any moment.” Rafael Cornell, the wedding planner, said. “We have to change the location, or….”
“No. Don’t change the location. Just make arrangements for the guest who don’t want to get wet during the wedding. Rest can stay here because we are getting married in RAIN.” Artemis said, cutting in between. “I proposed to her under the water and will marry her above the water, getting drenched by the water,” he added.
“Woah!! That sounds thrilling.” Tiara chirped like a teenage girl, loving the idea.
“Okay, then!!” Rafael said, nodding his head.

In the chopper!!
“Are you mad at me, Princess?” Brandon asked softly, holding her hand when he found her lost in her thoughts.
“No, dad. I’m not mad at you or at anyone, at least not now.” Caroline admitted with a smile.

The moment the chopper left the helipad, the choir of cellos, villains, and a piano that was playing classical music before changed the music on the arrival of the bride. Caroline held Brandon’s arms tightly because of nervousness and also because she was five hours late. She was wearing a very elegant white princess gown made from the finest Duchesse satin and silk. The bodice that had a sweetheart neckline was encrusted with real crystals. The romantic full skirt with elaborate raffles and folds was decorated with crystals and embroidery. That was a different story that it was slightly dirty now, but who cared at that moment as long as the bride was finally there? She didn’t know who her designer was, but he or she had surely done amazing work because she looked like a princess of some kingdom. Through her gleaming veil, one could see her green eyes shining like a green crystal.
Her hair was curled and clipped in a half pony and tied with a diamond hair comb that her parents had gifted at her wedding. Her hair cascaded around her face. She had worn a very elegant and expensive diamond necklace that her Aunt Becca and Uncle Oli gifted her as a wedding gift.
She couldn’t wear everyone’s gift; otherwise, she would have been looked like a walking jewelry store. She grabbed the bouquet in her other hand tightly and walked with Brandon taking a slow step.
Her eyes found Artemis and saw tears in his eyes; he quickly wiped them. Raul was standing just behind him. All of a sudden, it started raining, but no one left there because they wanted to attend the wedding in the rain. After all, it wasn’t every day that they happened to attend this type of wedding.
