My Mate Is A Witch
Chapter 95

“You can’t blame my brother like that. It’s because of his bitch mate who rejected him.” Charlotte said, supporting her elder brother.

“Guys, let’s drop that topic,” Oliver said when he realized that topic was going out of the topic. “We are here for Caroline and Artemis, remember?”

“Caro, did you talk with mom about Artemis?” He asked next.

“Yes, uncle. In fact, I also sent a mail to her with all the detail of Artemis.”

“You did whhaaattt?” Both Oliver and Colton exclaimed in shock.

“I sent a mail to her with all the detail of Artemis.”

“God! Sarah. Dad has a habit of checking mom’s phone if she is not around and he has nothing to do.” Colton said, shaking his head.

Sophia had left to prepare tea for both Brandon and her when he was freshening up in the washroom. And when he walked out, he didn’t replace her in the room. Knowing her schedule, he knew she would be in the room with evening tea at any moment.

After wearing fresh clothes, he laid down on the bed to relax and looked around to do something, and found Sophia’s phone on the table. He smiled, knowing what he was going to do next. He grabbed it and unlocked it; he started going through her emails to see what was going on at her workplace.

All of a sudden, Caroline’s mail popped up on the top. He didn’t open it instantly and waited for her mail on his phone as well, but when he didn’t receive any mail on his phone. He couldn’t stop himself from opening the mail from Caroline. He didn’t miss to observe that it was forwarded in the mail.

He checked the mail. Nothing much was written in the mail body, just two attachments. And Colton had sent that mail to Caroline first and she had forwarded the same to her mother.

He opened the PDF file, attached to it, and started going through the details of Artemis with a lot of questions in his mind.

“Tea and cookies are here.” Sophia entered with a smile on her face, while Brandon had a big frown on his face. “What happened? What are you looking at?” She asked again but got no response from Brandon. Keeping the tray aside, she laid down too near him to see what he was looking at with such a serious face, and the color of her face paled when her husband was reading.

‘I’m so dead.’ She thought.

Closing the PDF, he opened the other attachment and saw a handsome man in his late thirties.

“Come on!! I think we have a topic to discuss over the tea.” Brandon said in a serious tone, passing Sophia’s phone to her.

“You…” Rebecca said, looking at a man. He pointed his finger toward him to confirm whether he was really being called. “Yes, you!! Santino, aren’t you?”

“Yes, queen.” Santino nodded his head. He was trying his best not to come across the queen, not after knowing that she had warned Erica about what she did. He didn’t want to become her next target. But when Caroline was telling the truth about her, he just couldn’t stop himself from knowing more about her. And the conversation immediately came to a halt when both Oliver and Colton realized that there could be a chance that Caroline’s father would also have read that email before they would have moved further warriors on patrol informed vampires’ presence near the pack and everyone dropped that conversation for a while and Lorenzo, Raul, Aiden, Artemis and other important leaving the party which almost had come to an end. Santino, too, was leaving with them but got caught by the queen.

Artemis, stay here!! It’s your party.” Rebecca said next, on which Artemis couldn’t go against her words. “Colton!! You will go with Alpha Lorenzo and help him with this vampire issue.” She added.

“Okay, Aunt.”

Once everyone left, Rebecca narrowed her eyes, looking at Santino, who gulped his saliva nervously. “Why did you stop me, Queen?” he asked.

“You really don’t know?” Rebecca asked.

“Neither did I ask Erica to do anything that she did today, nor was I involved in it. In fact, I also asked her not to play that stunt.” Santino explained.

“Do you really think that I’m talking about this incident, Santino?” Rebecca asked, but this time she didn’t give him time to respond. “What the hell, you said to my mate when you met him the last time?”

“Becca?” Oliver realized where this conversation was going. He didn’t tell her about it to her then how did she come to know about it?

“One minute, Liv!” Rebecca stopped him. “What did you tell him? ‘You ended up marrying the daughter of your boss, and because of her, you’re here. I guess these were your words.” She hissed in anger. “Insulting my mate is equal to insulting my mate, and for that, I can show you your place right now, right here, and no one, I repeat, no one will come to your aid except the man who is still trying to save you from my wrath.”

“So what? So what that my dad was his boss? Liv is here because of his talent, and he has me because he loved me for ME, but you won’t understand this simple sentence. Do you know why? Because you love anyone with his or her power and position. I knew your father, and he was a great Alpha and a great person, but you’re nowhere like him.”

Santino bit his inner cheek at this compliment. “If you were not part of my daughter’s family. I swear I would have your head in my head. Now, apologize to my mate right now.” She yelled.
