Chapter 117 Dramatic Bitch

"Not sharing?"

Heather took two steps forward.

She slowly showed her true color, little by little.

"Do you want to monopolize him?"

Athena wanted to deny it.

But her stomach was churning badly.

She had only eaten some seafood today, skipped dinner, and had a frustrating experience.

Perhaps even the baby in her belly was not happy.

She turned around and started to retch.

Heather's expression became extremely unpleasant.

Was this woman intentionally trying to disgust herself?

"What are you doing?"

Byron's voice rang out.

Athena felt speechless.

Heather really was a dramatic bitch!

"I didn't..."

Heather looked somewhat flustered as she watched Byron rushing over.

"What's wrong?" Byron ignored her and went to Athena's side.

"I got too hungry." Athena quickly found a very reasonable excuse, afraid that Byron would suspect something.

She calmed down, stood up straight, and waved her hand disdainfully at Byron. "I'm fine now, Mr. Crawford. Please go on with your business. I'm leaving."

As she spoke, she was about to go to the door of the driver's cabin.

"I'll drive."

Taking advantage of Athena's lack of reaction, Byron took the car keys and directed her to the passenger seat.

Heather stood there the whole time, looking like an attention-seeking third wheel.

Byron pushed Athena into the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, and closed the car door.

"Byron, are you going with her now? What about me?" Heather couldn't bear it any longer and asked, "Your family is here. If you leave me behind and go with her, what will others think of me?" Byron turned around and looked deeply at Heather.

"Why did you suddenly want to visit Madam Crawford today?"

Yes, it was Heather's suggestion for everyone to come to the care home today.

"It was Lola..."

"You should call her Mrs. Lola Crawford." Byron's tone was cold. "I also hope that you didn't participate in today's farce."

"You really don't trust me?" Heather looked shocked and hurt.

"Miss Ross, we've known each other for a very short time, and I don't really understand you." Byron's tone carried a sense of authority and warning. "If you want the marriage to go smoothly, it's best not to do things you shouldn't, especially to Athena. Otherwise, I will cancel the engagement."

Cancelled the engagement?

Heather was taken aback.

"Do you know the cost of cancelling an engagement?"

"Of course, I know." Byron looked at Heather. "But please believe that I'm willing to bear the cost and loss for Athena."

Honestly speaking, Heather always believed that she understood Byron very well.

She could gradually manipulate Byron with this understanding.

He was someone who pursued his interests and would stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

From the moment he agreed to the engagement.

She breathed a sigh of relief and put her mind at ease.

Even though Heather knew Athena existed.

She wasn't the least bit worried.

It was because Heather was confident that Byron would never give up the engagement.

But he just said...

He would cancel the engagement for Athena!

"It's cold outside. Go back."

Byron uttered these unkind words, showing no genuine concern.

He walked around the front of the car and got into the passenger seat.

Then he started the car and drove away directly.

"Miss Ross!"

Jones, watching from a distance, approached quickly as Byron left.

"What did Mr. Crawford say? Why do you look so upset?"

"Byron said that if I mess with Athena, he will cancel the engagement!" Heather replied.
