Chapter 1631 Difference

Athena looked at Gideon without saying anything.

Everyone knew that Gideon wouldn't do that.

"I'm an outsider. From my point of view, I've said everything I need to say. You have to make your choice." Athena paused. "I will try to persuade Sally to see you again before the wedding." Gideon suddenly raised his head. "Really?"

"I will try my best. Go back, tidy yourself up, and wait for my call."

"Okay!" Gideon's eyes were red. He saw hope.

"However, you have to promise me that no matter whether you can see her or not, you can't ruin her wedding."

Before seeing Gideon, Athena thought that he was proud.

But now, she was shocked to replace that his pride was gone.

Gideon didn't speak.

Athena said helplessly, "You know, she attaches great importance to her wedding. It is very important to her."

"I can give her a better wedding!"

"You can't let your elders accept her and give her their best wishes. What kind of wedding can you give her?" Athena finished her words.

She didn't want to argue with Gideon anymore.

Holding Byron's hand, she got up and left.

Gideon sat there.

He covered his face. Tears rolled down his cheeks.

No one around him spoke for Sally, but Athena.

Only Athena would tell him how much he had disappointed Sally in the past sixteen years.

Outside the window, it was dusk.

Gideon stood up in a daze and walked out. The setting sun elongated his lonely back, making him look like an abandoned dog. "Are you going to help Gideon persuade Sally?" Byron held Athena's hand.

Gideon's words made him afraid.

If Athena was determined to abandon him and marry someone else at that time...

As this thought, Byron felt scared.

"Without Gideon, we wouldn't have Aiden and Mia..."

Athena sighed.

Byron lowered his eyes. "I'm sorry..."

"It's all over." Athena put her hand on the back of Byron's waist and patted it. "Go accompany the children. I'll give Sally a call." "Okay." Byron kissed Athena's forehead.

After Byron left, Athena found a quiet place and called Sally.

Sally answered the phone immediately. "Are you okay? He didn't do anything extreme to hurt you, did he?"

Athena sighed with emotion.

This was the difference between love and no love.

When Sally loved Gideon, she only cared about him.

But when she didn't love him anymore, she was worried whether he would hurt others.

"Gideon didn't go crazy." Athena was helpless. "Sally, are you going to end your sixteen-year relationship like this?"

Sally fell silent.

"How about listening to his confession?" Athena asked gently. "Tell him what you think and put an end to your sixteen-year relationship."

"Athena, I'm not trying to avoid it, but I don't know what to say to him." Sally was quite distressed. "Let me think about it. I'll give you an answer tomorrow."

"Um."

The phone was hung up.

Sally looked at her phone dejectedly.

She sighed heavily.
