Chapter 1646 A Blood Feud

Athena didn't bother to chat with her anymore.

She turned on her phone, turned the volume up to the maximum, and played an audio clip.

This clip was about Jessica bribing a staff member to play a particular video.

Jessica's face tightened significantly.

"Didn't I say? It's a surprise... a surprise video," She stubbornly defended herself.

Athena chuckled, "Miss Campbell, you're so naive. If Sally hadn't been accommodating you all this time, you'd have been in trouble long ago. Where do you think that staff member you bribed is? And the thing you gave him?"

Jessica's face froze. "Mrs. Crawford, I've heard about your past."

Athena remained silent, just looking at her intently.

Jessica continued, "Your mother died because of a mistress, right? So, you should understand my hatred even more!"

"I don't," Athena responded coldly, "You could hurt the person who destroyed your family, but what has Sally done to you? As far as I know, she's always sincerely treated you as her sister and hasn't harmed you."

Jessica's expression became even grimmer.

"That doesn't change the fact that she's the daughter of a mistress!"

"So, this is your reason to harm her?" Athena sneered, "To prevent her from marrying Bob, you drugged her and sent her to another man's bed, maliciously recording videos and photos to tarnish her reputation. Forced her to drop out of school even though she was an excellent student, made her live in a daze, lost the trust of the one she loved, and entangled her in problems for sixteen years without any resolution."

Athena paused for a moment, staring intently at Jessica.

"How much do you hate her? To ruin someone who's always been genuinely kind to you?"

"You're talking nonsense. Sally ruined her life herself. How is that related to me?" Jessica immediately refuted.

Athena smiled, "Do you think I would speak without evidence? The wealthy merchant from back then he's still alive. He can be here with just one call. Do you want to meet him again?"

Jessica's face went pale instantly.

"I also found the photographer you hired two years ago to stalk Sally," Athena continued calmly, "Every time Sally had any interaction with a man, he would deliberately take photos from misleading angles, creating ambiguous situations."

"I didn't!" Jessica reflexively denied it.

Without hesitation, Athena threw a bunch of files on Jessica's face.

Jessica quickly grabbed one, and upon glancing at it, her eyes trembled intensely.

"These are old chat logs from your Facebook. You still haven't log out this account."

Jessica clutched the paper tightly.

"What do you want?" She glared at Athena, "Didn't expect this, Mrs. Crawford, that you'd go to such lengths to protect the daughter of a mistress. Why are you defending her?"

"Jessica, did you think Sally doesn't know all this while you're behind these schemes?" Athena looked at Jessica and asked coldly, "She knows better than anyone!"

Jessica clenched her fists, unable to contain her trembling.

"Why do you think she never explained herself?" Athena's tone grew angrier, "You're foolish. What you've done isn't brilliant. If she decided to expose you, you'd be revealed. By that time, not only would your father despise you, but the wrath of Gideon would also be more than you could handle! How can you betray her kindness after all she's done for you, you wicked woman!"
