Chapter 1681 Farewell

"Get lost! Just get out of here!" Eleanor exclaimed in frustration, "My son has been unconscious for days, and you're unimportant to him. We don't welcome you here anymore, so just go away!"

Who knew? As soon as she finished speaking, Doctors and nurses rushed over.

"What's wrong?" Eleanor asked nervously.

"The patient has awakened!" The attending physician replied and then rushed into the hospital room.

Eleanor was stunned for a moment and then began to cry tears of joy.

Completely forgetting what she had said to Sally, she walked towards the hospital room with the servant's help.

The observation window had already been covered with a curtain.

About seven or eight minutes passed. The attending physician came out and said with a usual expression, "The patient is now awake, and his vital signs are normal. He can be transferred to a normal room for further treatment."

Eleanor listened to this. She was so grateful that she burst into tears.

Sally was also thrilled and instinctively looked at Athena.

Athena smiled and nodded at her.

Gideon was soon transferred to the VIP room.

Eleanor rushed forward and was the first to see Gideon, who had just woken up.

"Gideon, it's Mom. Are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Gideon glanced at her, but his gaze turned toward the direction of the door.

"Are you looking for Sally?" Eleanor hurriedly asked, "Wait here. Mom will go to get her for you!"

Eleanor ran out of the hospital room while talking.

Just at that moment, Sally and Athena, who had just finished discussing Gideon's condition with the attending physician and were about to leave, happened to be seen.

"Ms. Campbell!" Eleanor rushed forward.

"Ms. Campbell, Gideon is looking for you!"

Sally hesitated.

Since Gideon had woken up, she believed there was no need for another meeting.

"I spoke a bit harshly just now. Lately, my mind has been a bit confused. Don't take it to heart. Go to see him..."

Sally thought about it. In the end, she agreed.

In the hospital room, Gideon's gaze immediately fell on her.

Sally walked up to his side and sat down. "You. What's all this mess you've gotten into?"

Gideon still couldn't speak, but he looked at Sally with a pitiful expression. "You've been through a close call with death. Don't do this again. Remember what you said before. Anyone can live on, although someone leaves them in this world."

Gideon looked at her. Tears kept rolling down from the corners of his eyes.

"Don't cry," Sally sighed, "Why do you seem more like a child as you grow up? If you feel sorry for what happened in the past, you have to live even better from now on. Don't let me carry the blame for driving my ex to death! You know, my reputation was bad for a long time. Recently, it's finally started to improve a bit. I'm begging you!"

Sally clasped her hands together.

It was the adorable look that Gideon had seen countless times before but had never truly cherished.

He watched her closely. Tears continued to roll down, and then he nodded slowly, his expression filled with difficulty.

With this nod, it was a farewell to the sixteen years of love and hate from the past.

Sally froze for a moment. She didn't expect Gideon to agree like this.

She smiled with relief. "My bouquet was handed to you, and my happiness was passed to your hands. Your destined love will soon come to you." Sally paused for a moment.

Her smile brightened a little more on her face. "Then I'll leave now. Take care."
