Chapter 1711 Why Do You Blame Me

Sylas pointed at Jessica and scolded her.

"Dad, it's Lucas' fault. Why do you blame me?" Jessica asked.

"It's not his fault. Gideon asked someone to do it!" Sylas shouted hoarsely as he clutched his chest and fell on the sofa.

Sally was dumbfounded.

She called Gideon to beg for mercy.

"What on earth do you want to let my family go? They don't know about these things. My father loved Sally sincerely before, and I was the one who sowed discord in it. Please let them go!" Jessica cried.

"I want you to give up everything now and leave the Campbell family. You will wander the streets from now on," Gideon said.

What Jessica valued most was pride.

Gideon would make her a humble person and ruin her pride.

"Gideon, you are so cruel!" Jessica was shocked.

If she had to be a beggar, she might as well die.

"I don't care. You can die. For at most two months, your father, brothers, husband, and children will take your place to beg and wander."

Jessica's ears buzzed.

"You have three minutes to choose. After three minutes, I will change my mind," Gideon said calmly.

Jessica held the phone tightly. "Gideon, is it all my responsibility that you and Sally broke up?"

"Don't worry. No one can escape," Gideon said with a smile.

Jessica felt terrified in her heart when she heard that.

Three minutes was too short.

Jessica had no other choice.

She could only grit her teeth and agree, "Gideon, don't hurt my family anymore!"

Jessica glanced at Sylas.

Sylas frowned and turned his head away from looking at her.

Jessica gave a wry smile and put down her phone. She walked out of the gate full of humiliation.

Gideon found someone to watch Jessica.

She was driven away from the rich area to the slums where the homeless gathered.

She looked so glamorous.

Therefore, she was forced to take off the brand-name clothes on her body.

She put on clothes full of foul smell.

At night, she found a small corner that she thought was safe.

But in the middle of the night, a man with a foul smell came over.

No matter how she screamed and begged for mercy, she couldn't escape.

In a trance, she suddenly saw a scene ten years ago. Sally stood in front of her with tears and tattered clothes.

When Jessica suffered the pain, she finally regretted it.

If she hadn't done those things, how much could Sally, an illegitimate daughter, take away from her?

Powerful families wouldn't want a daughter-in-law like Sally.

Other families wouldn't affect Jessica.

Sylas would marry Sally off as a marriage tool.

Jessica wouldn't have become like this.

However, it was too late for her to regret it now.

Jessica's life was ruined in the dirty, smelly, and disorderly slum.

Her pride gradually disappeared under the trampling of those men.

Gideon's subordinates watched her for half a year.

Seeing Jessica gradually become a crazy woman wandering in the city, Gideon withdrew his subordinates.
