Chapter 1760 A Little Princess

Logan took Aiden to the toilet and came back with his face as white as paper.

He couldn't wait any longer.

After staying for a while, he walked to the corner.

Athena sensed that there was something wrong with him.

She went over to check on him.

Logan then started crying and praying, "Oh god, I can take ten years of my life in exchange for the safety of Evie and the child. Please, I beg you." Athena frowned and asked, "Logan, what are you talking about?"

Logan was startled.

He turned his head, tears streaming down his face.

"Athena..."

"What's wrong?" Athena asked with concern, as she rarely saw Logan like this.

"There was a woman who died from amniotic fluid embolism today." When Logan spoke, his lips were trembling, "How can people die in labor!?" When he took Aiden to the washroom just now, he met the family of the unfortunate woman.

He was numb when hearing such things.

Evie had been in the delivery room for so long, and there were some screams coming out once in a while. He didn't know if those were hers.

The more he thought about it, the more frightened he became.

"The probability of it happening is low. Don't overthink it!"

Athena patted Logan on the head.

"Don't have children anymore! Both you and Evie!" Logan cried with snot coming out.

"Wipe your tears. Mia will be scared if she sees you like this," Athena continued.

Logan hurriedly took out a tissue to wipe away his tears.

He waited till he calmed down a bit and then followed her back to the outside of the delivery room.

There was a place next to the delivery room where family members could rest. It was about the time when Rose and Suzy were used to go to bed, but they were still sitting outside the room. Rose kept praying for her.

Suzy was also holding the prayer beads. She stretched her head out to take a look from time to time.

At five o'clock in the morning, the door of the delivery room finally opened.

A nurse came out with a crumpled baby in her arms.

"Congratulations. It's a little princess, and she's in good shape!"

"Princess?!!"

Brandon rushed out from the waiting area. His usual seriousness was gone.

Suzy didn't even have time to put on her shoes and ran out.

Athena was close to the door, so she saw the baby easily. The little girl was looking around with deep eyes.

Athena felt like crying, with tears almost rolling down.

"Where's Evie?" She immediately asked, "Is she okay?"

"She's fine. Take the baby to the room first. The mother will have to stay in the delivery room for a while."

"Why? Is she okay?" Logan couldn't help but cry, "She's okay, right?"

The nurses all laughed.

"Of course, she's okay. Her husband is by her side. Hey! Someone come and pick up the child!"

Only then did everyone realize.

Suzy stepped forward and carefully carried the baby into her arms.

Mia's eyes had never moved away from her little sister.

"Oh, she's so beautiful!" Suzy said as she squatted to let Mia see the baby, "Mia, come and see your sister!"

Mia's eyes sparkled. She greeted her gently and softly as if she was afraid of scaring her.

"Hello, little sister, do you recognize my voice? I am your sister, and I will protect you in the future!"

The adults immediately laughed.

"That's enough! Hurry up and take her to the ward!" Fearing that the child would get a cold from the wind, Rose hurriedly urged.

"Brandon, be careful when you hold her!" Suzy gave the baby to Brandon, looked eagerly at the door of the delivery room with Athena and Logan, and asked, "Why hasn't Evie come out yet..."
