Chapter 1832 Treat Him Well

"Calm down."

Elijah raised his hand to cover Sally's face with his big palm.

Sally blinked. Her long eyelashes brushed against Elijah's palm. It was itchy. "I'm calm."

A few seconds later, Sally pulled Elijah's hand away and held it.

"But I'm still nervous. Adonis won't scold me for taking you away, will he?"

"No." Elijah was amused. "Don't be nervous."

"Every wife will feel nervous when she first sees her husband's family." Sally took several deep breaths. "After the morning class, I have to go back and change my clothes." She got up, took a tracksuit casually, and put it on.

Her hair was still messy.

"You don't have to be nervous because you are perfect." Elijah corrected her seriously.

"Really?" Sally smiled happily.

The two talked while walking to the hall.

Elijah's phone rang.

As soon as he looked at the caller ID, the smile on his face disappeared.

Sally and Elijah didn't attend this morning class.

After answering the phone, Elijah took Sally and hurried to the Adonis' room.

There were already many monks outside the room.

Elijah's heart beat so fast.

When everyone saw him coming, they looked sad, and no one said a word.

Sally glanced at Elijah worriedly.

Elijah held her hand tightly, and his hand was trembling uncontrollably.

He strode over.

Elijah held Sally's hand and entered the room.

When Sally entered, she smelled a faint smell of blood.

Adonis was leaning on several stacked pillows with blood on the corner of his mouth. His face was deadly pale, and the light in his eyes seemed to have completely faded. "Father."

Elijah called Adonis.

Adonis' eyes lit up a little.

"Needle!"

Elijah looked at Brett.

Brett hurriedly handed over his needle.

Elijah was about to unfold the bag with needles inside.

"Elijah."

Adonis spoke weakly.

Elijah's hand trembled violently.

"Where's your wife?" Adonis asked.

"Father, I'm here." Sally hurried forward. "Father, I'm Sally, Elijah's wife."

Adonis raised his eyelids with difficulty.

But he could only see darkness.

He lost his sight.

"Sally, a nice name." After Adonis finished this, he took a long breath.

Elijah burst into tears.

"Father, I forgot to bring you a meeting gift. How about next time? When I visit you next time, I will buy you the most delicious fruit and the most beautiful flowers." Sally said in a gentle and cute voice.

Adonis smiled.

"Elijah is good." Adonis paused for a while before continuing, "You... must treat him well."

"I will," Sally replied immediately. Tears flowed out of her eyes. "Father, don't worry. I love him very much, and I will be super, super good to him."

"Good..."

Adonis said good in a weak voice.

Then the light in his eyes slowly and completely dissipated.

"Father!"

Brett cried in pain and immediately rushed forward.

On a sunny morning.

Adonis passed away.

When Elijah walked out of the yard, he was bumped into by several monks.

He felt no pain.

The crying behind him came closer and then went farther away.

He walked out of the door.

And he accidentally tripped over it.

"Be careful!"

Sally immediately supported him.

Elijah suddenly looked back at her in a daze.

What he saw was the snow piled up in the yard.

And Adonis hurriedly ran toward him.

"Elijah, didn't I tell you that when you cross the doorsill, you have to raise your feet? Did you fall again?"

"Come here. Let me take a look. Does it hurt?"

Elijah grieved Adonis' death.

Tears welled up in his eyes.

"Father..."
