Chapter 1843 Losing Everything

Silvia thought to herself.

She started to think about what kind of iron chains she should buy to lock up her daughter.

Her daughter was really strong now. If she managed to break free and hurt someone, Silvia would be the one in trouble.

Hmm...

She should also reduce the amount of food she gave to her daughter.

If her daughter was weak from hunger, she wouldn't have the strength to break free...

That was what Silvia thought.

She walked toward the office of her daughter's attending physician.

They had already spent too much money at the hospital.

She needed to get her daughter discharged as soon as possible.

Athena returned to the Timberlake Manor.

She received a long-distance call from Ennis at once.

"Ms. Stella, I've contacted the patient. Tonight around 8 o'clock, I'll bring my team to Ohsalond."

"Thank you, Doc. Freed," Athena replied politely. "Ohsalond is close to Girard City. Come when you have free time, and I'll definitely host you."

"I will." Ennis chuckled. "Ms. Stella, I've heard so much about you and I'd really like to meet you."

Athena smiled. "Then I'll be waiting to hear back from you."

"Okay."

After a brief conversation, the call ended.

"Is that doctor?" Sally asked.

Athena nodded. "He's contacted the patient, and they'll go there tonight."

"Wow! Emily is really something. I didn't expect her to invite such a famous doctor!" Sally exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up.

Athena didn't say that Emily didn't actually know Ennis.

After replaceing out about this matter, Ennis contacted her instead of Emily.

She could vaguely sense that perhaps Ennis had something that required her or the Stella family's assistance.

"Is Herbert still wary of Byron?" Sally asked, eating a piece of watermelon. She turned her head and saw Herbert eating outside Mia's door.

Athena sighed helplessly. "Maybe he'll change when we come home."

"Has Byron started getting involved in Crawford Group's affairs?" Sally glanced at the closed door of the study.

"Yes." Athena nodded. "He's a born businessman. Many things become clear to him after he thinks about them once in his mind."

"That's great!" Sally responded. "Selfishly, although you're a couple, I still hope that you can focus your energy and abilities on your own career." Sally had known Byron for over ten years.

She watched him slowly drain the Crawford Group that Lola had been holding onto.

She also knew that the core of Imbe Group was not anything else but Byron.

Athena did a great job as the president.

But as long as Byron returned, those people would only acknowledge Byron.

Sally didn't have a favorable impression of Byron.

She watched as Athena was won over by Byron and saw Athena endure Byron's anger and revenge, which originally belonged to Freya.

She also witnessed the long-standing emotional abuse Byron had subjected Athena to.

In Sally's understanding, Byron's greatest love was himself.

Therefore, Sally naturally hoped that Athena could have her own business empire instead of working with Byron.

It would be great if things went well.

But what if things went wrong?

Athena was nowhere near as ruthless as Byron.

Most likely, she would end up losing everything.

"I know." Athena nodded.

"Alright then!" Sally threw away the watermelon peel, patted her knees, and stood up. "I'm going back with the kitten. I haven't been sleeping well these past few days. I need to get some good sleep!" Sally had been staying at the monastery with Elijah for the past few days.

The kitten had been taken care of by Athena.

With the love and care from the children, the kitten had gained a lot of weight in just one week.
