Chapter 1912 Call You Again

"You are right. I'll throw it away soon!" Byron smiled softly and coaxed Athena, "Can I have my milk?"

Athena poured milk for Byron and brought it to him.

The two stood in the kitchen.

Athena was happy to see Byron's condition had improved a lot.

"I will not attend the group's monthly and quarterly shareholders' meetings," Athena said suddenly.

Byron put down the glass.

"Why?"

"Aiden and Mia's school is about to start. And I also need to spend time on the project of Chelsea Investment Company," Athena said slowly, "Anyway, you now almost know about the group's affairs. You can take care of other things at the meeting. And Liam will help you."

Byron thought for a while before nodding.

He said, "I'll do it right."

"Of course! Imbe Group was founded and prospered by you," Athena said, leaning to touch Byron's head.

Byron liked Athena's movement very much.

He felt like she was authenticating that he belonged to her.

Then, Athena saw Elijah coming out of the guest room suite.

Athena dropped her hand.

Elijah would drink a glass of water after getting up. He went straight to the kitchen and said good morning gently to the couple. "Liam will be here soon. I'll change clothes," Byron said to Athena.

"Well, be careful," Athena said.

"Okay."

Byron smiled slightly at Elijah and went upstairs.

"Thanks to your prescribed medicine, his spirits have greatly improved in the past two months." Athena gestured to Elijah. Elijah looked back at Byron and asked, "How about his sleep lately?"

"Fine, but he had a nightmare last night," Athena replied.

"Well, I'll ask someone to send some soothing medicine later," Elijah nodded and said, "Sally also needs it very much now." "How about her sleep last night?" Athena asked.

"She woke up twice from dreaming and crying." Elijah looked down. "She is always empathetic. And it happened to be Micah..."

"I know."

Athena's phone suddenly rang.

Ennis called her.

Athena and Ennis had contacted just once.

Although they agreed to meet again when they were in Girard City in the future, they had no contact since then.

"Ennis? The doctor who treated Daisy?" Elijah asked.

Athena nodded and answered the phone, murmuring, "Why so early..."

Athena said politely, "Doc. Freed, good morning."

"I'm sorry to bother you so early." Ennis' voice was still gentle.

"Never mind. What's up?" Athena asked.

"I just finished seeing Daisy. Her mother wants to communicate with you. Could you come here?"

Athena's face became gloomy.

"Tell her that Daisy's treatment will not be delayed because of her stupidity. No need to see me." Athena's tone became chilly.

Ennis was slightly startled, hearing that.

In his opinion, Athena spent money and effort to replace him for Daisy, which meant Daisy was essential to Athena.

"I see." Ennis didn't ask why. "Do you still remember you said on the last phone call that you would treat me after returning to Girard City?"

Athena said, "Of course, Doc. Freed. Call me when you are free. I will arrange."

"Okay."

Ennis didn't finish his words, but he heard the sound of the door opening.

"I have something to do now. I'll call you again. Bye," Ennis said immediately. "Bye."

Then, the call ended.
