Chapter 1922 Accident

"Moreover, the local boss dared to kill those who were arranged by Byron?" Athena asked next.

Mike was at a loss.

"I understand. I'll go check it out!"

"Yeah." Athena paused for a moment and looked at Mike, who was sweating from running. "Mike, modern people don't necessarily need to communicate face to face. They can just make a phone call."

Athena patted Mike on the shoulder and went back.

Mike was even more confused.

He realized.

Why didn't he call Chelsea instead of rushing out to replace her?

Mike's guess was right.

As soon as Byron went out in the morning, Martin told him about the death of Bertha's family.

He sat in the back, looking at the documents with a cold face, without even frowning.

Martin said,

"Mr. Crawford, Mrs. Crawford will know about it soon."

Byron raised his head and looked at him.

Looking at Byron's eyes, Martin trembled suddenly and immediately lowered his head.

Then, Byron said calmly, "Does it have to do with me being killed for revenge? Why can't my wife know?"

"Yes!"

Martin responded quickly.

It seemed that Byron suddenly became more and more terrifying.

He was even scarier than before he lost his memory.

The day he came back from Northern Canakey, Byron explained two things in total.

The first was to send Paul home.

The second was to remove the surveillance and tell others that these three people would no longer be monitored by him.

In that kind of place, they were monitored by Byron, which was a kind of protection in disguise.

No one was sure about the relationship between these people and Byron.

Therefore, when Zora started to go crazy and hurt others, everyone tolerated it.

When Byron's subordinates had just withdrawn, someone came to the door at night...

It suddenly became silent inside the car.

Martin and the driver did not dare to breathe hard.

Byron, on the other hand, looked down at the documents as if nothing had happened.

The morning meeting ended.

Byron explained a few words about the meeting at Imbe Group headquarters tomorrow.

Then he was going home to have dinner with his wife and children.

Unexpectedly, when he was about to leave, the message came on the phone.

To his surprise, it was the kid he met at the Timberlake Manor when he was in Northern Canakey last time.

"Mr. Crawford, are you in Girard City?"

Byron replied, "Yes."

The kid quickly replied, "I was kicked out by my mother, and now I don't know where to go."

Byron immediately frowned.

Half an hour later, Byron arrived at the address sent by the boy.

It was near the largest park in Girard City.

When he was approaching, Byron saw from a distance that the child was walking forward with bare feet, and his head lowered. "Stop in front," Byron said to the driver.

The driver naturally listened to him.

After the car stopped, Byron said, "Find a parking lot nearby and wait for me." Then he opened the door and got out of the car.

The driver didn't dare ask Byron where he was going or what he was doing but obeyed his orders.

Byron got out of the car and walked straight across the zebra crossing.

When the boy looked up and saw Byron walking towards him, he immediately smiled and ran towards him quickly. "Mr. Crawford!"

"Where are your shoes?" Byron asked.

"While I was sleeping in the park, they were stolen by other homeless people." The boy lowered his head.

"Sleep? How long have you been kicked out?" Byron asked in a deep voice.

"Not long ago. Last night..." the boy replied softly.

"What are your parents' phone numbers?" Byron took out his cell phone. "Are they crazy to kick such a young child out all night?"

"Mr. Crawford, please not..." the boy said in panic, "Don't call them. It will be fine when Grandma comes back. This time, it was just an accident!"
