My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
Chapter 1954 It Was About Time

Evie's words were like thunder, which exploded in Athena's mind.

She had never thought about it.

After all, Byron was still in a state of amnesia, and he and Paul seemed to be getting along well during this time.

When the two of them were in Northern Canakey, they used to sit together and spend the entire day playing chess.

Byron even showed an expression of thinking hard when Evie asked him to regard Paul as Mia's future husband so that he would not have to face the pain of his daughter getting married to another family in the future.

"I was just saying, don't take it seriously. Mr. Crawford is different now, and he will not do such a thing," Evie quickly said as she saw Athena's expression change instantly.

"I know," Athena responded.

Evie seemed to be afraid that she would think too much, so she simply picked Pixie up.

"Do you think Pixie has grown a little bigger since you left?"

Pixie herself didn't understand what her mother said.

She was pinched in the armpit, giggling with laughter.

Her big eyes narrowed into a smile.

Athena also laughed. "I really want time to pass faster. Come back to Girard City early. I also want to hold Pixie."

"We'll be back soon!" Evie nodded repeatedly.

The video call ended when Pixie got tired and fell asleep.

Before the call ended, neither Evie nor Athena mentioned Paul again.

The call was hung up, and Evie seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and looked at Aron, sitting opposite and looking at the contract. "Aron, did I almost cause trouble?"

"It was fine." Aron closed the cap of the pen, stood up, and walked towards Evie, sitting down next to her. "Based on your understanding of Athena, if she becomes suspecting something, could she stop before she replaces the truth?"

Evie's face turned bad. "Do you mean Paul was really sent out by Byron? No way..."

"Isn't it a nice thing to send him abroad?" Aron asked, "He just had a class leap that many people could not complete in their entire lives."

"It's not a bad thing." Evie said, "If Paul didn't want to go but ended up going anyway, why do you think it was?"

"He was forced," Aron answered.

"Right... the nature of the matter will be different," Evie said and crossed her hands together to pray, "Please, please let me be wrong, and it must not be Byron who did it!"

Aron thought Evie was so cute when she felt she had caused big trouble.

He hugged Evie in his arms and kissed her.

Evie was stunned by the kiss. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong. Mrs. Timberlake, please continue your praying," Aron replied with a smile.

Evie was speechless.

How could she still pray to God when he was messing around? Wouldn't that be blasphemy to God?

No more praying!

If Byron really sent Paul abroad, it would be good for Athena to punish him.

Since he lost his memory and returned, Athena had really spoiled him, and it was about time to teach him a lesson.

As for Paul...

He was still young, and maybe this could be an opportunity for him.

By the time he grew up and looked back, maybe he wouldn't blame Byron for forcing him.

Compared to Evie's imagination, Athena was a little more hands-on.

After hanging up the phone with Evie, she directly called the director.
