Chapter 209 I'll Only Have You in My Life

Athena looked at Byron, who was so surprised.

The last bad premonition in her heart was gone.

She touched Byron's cheek. And Byron immediately pressed his cheek to her palm like a big dog.

"I took care of the tree for five years and should enjoy the shade for the rest of my life," Athena replied.

"You also like me, right? Thea?" Byron asked urgently.

Athena looked at Byron and shook her head.

The smile on Byron's face disappeared visibly.

But then, Athena said, "Byron, I think... I love you."

Byron was startled.

"You love me. Why did you leave me before?" Byron asked.

"I love you, but I can't be a mistress." Athena snorted after finishing speaking. "Besides, didn't someone set a rule for me before that I was not allowed to fall in love with you?"

"Someone is a jerk!"

Byron scolded.

Athena looked at Byron.

She thought she had conveyed all her love for Byron and hoped he would not betray her love.

"I'm so happy!" Byron hugged Athena tightly. And after a while, he kissed her on the face again.

Athena was helpless.

"Mr. Crawford, it's almost two o'clock. Do you want to sleep?"

"Wait. I'll check the calendar first and choose a good day to get married!" Byron couldn't sleep at all this time. He took out his phone and looked through the calendar. After a while, Byron was not happy.

"Is there anything wrong with this calendar? Why isn't there a good date?"

"Marriage is a big event. It's Okay if the date doesn't fit." Athena took his phone away. "Why are you in such a hurry?"

"I'm afraid you'll run away," Byron said, holding her again. "Thea, we agreed to get married. It's settled. You can't run away again!"

"Why should I run away if you don't let me down?" Athena asked.

Byron thought of Freya.

But now he only felt guilty towards Freya.

He was just accompanying her for treatment. It was his responsibility! This would not let Athena down.

"I'll only have you in my life," Byron said seriously.

"Life is a long time. Let time tell if you are lying or not." Athena yawned after finishing speaking, "Mr. Crawford, I'm sleepy..."

"Sleep! I won't bother you anymore!"

Byron kissed her.

Byron thought she would sleep right away.

Unexpectedly, before Athena closed her eyes, she took the initiative to kiss him on the lips.

Then she shrank back into the quilt like a rabbit.

Byron saw that the tips of her ears were red.

The two of them had done many intimate things in the past, but she was still like this.

As soon as she was shy, the tips of her ears turned red.

Byron kissed the tips of Athena's ears tenderly and reverently. "Honey, good night."

Athena felt it was exaggerated.

She seemed to have suddenly fallen into a honeypot.

Every breath was a joy.

Honey...

This was the first time Byron called her honey.

When Byron woke up the next day, Athena was no longer by his side.

Byron, who was constantly worried about Athena running away, had no time to react to his brain before his body responded.

He got out of bed immediately, not even putting on his slippers.

Opening the bedroom door, Byron immediately became very nervous when he saw the suitcase in the living room at a glance. "Good morning."

Athena answered the phone and came in from the balcony.

When she came in, she saw Byron's face was dark.

"Evie, I got to go. See you later."

Athena hung up the phone.

She walked to Byron and raised her hand to touch his forehead. "Are you okay?"

"Where are you packing to go?" Byron asked.
