Chapter 283 Her Shadow

Byron looked at Mia, and somehow he seemed to see Athena's appearance in Mia in a trance.

Eating delicious food, her eyes would also light up immediately.

His heart began to feel sore and painful for no reason.

"Alice, remember this turkey. I want to buy it for my brother!" Just moments ago, Mia said that she didn't get along with Aiden well, but now, after tasting something delicious, the first person she thought of was not even her mother.

"Mia, you have a brother?" Byron asked.

"Yeah, that's right," Mia said proudly.

But she did not say more.

Byron seemed like a nice guy, but she just met him, so she couldn't talk about family affairs.

Rose had taught her about it.

Later, Byron continued to feed a lot of food to Mia.

Mia ate until her belly bulged, and then she began to feel drowsy.

"Sir, Mia is sleepy. I should take her back..." Alice said again.

Byron glanced at her. "Where is your table?"

"It's in the hall named Florica..."

"Can you replace it?" Byron asked.

Alice lowered her head in shame.

"I'll take you there." Byron stood up, holding Mia, gestured to the people at the table, and went straight out.

"No... no need!" Alice hastily chased after him.

Mia was at ease.

Lying on Byron's shoulder, she had already fallen asleep.

Before reaching the room, Alice saw Caspian.

"Mr. Hansen!" She hurriedly called out.

Caspian glanced at Byron.

In the business world, almost everyone knew Byron.

He walked over.

But Byron did not know Caspian.

"Where did you go?" Caspian frowned slightly.

"We... we got lost," Alice muttered.

"Sir, I'm sorry to trouble you," Caspian said, reaching out to hug Mia.

With the absence of a soft and fragrant presence in his embrace, Byron's heart also felt empty.

"No trouble, she is very cute," Byron looked at Mia and said gently.

Caspian smiled lightly.

Mia opened her eyes in bewilderment. "Mr. Hansen..."

"Mia, say thank you and goodbye to this sir." Caspian shook Mia gently.

Mia held on to her spirit.

She bowed to Byron.

"Thank you, Sir. Goodbye!"

Byron smiled and nodded. "Goodbye, Mia."

Afterward, Caspian hugged Mia and walked back.

Alice followed closely behind.

When he got to a place where Byron couldn't see, Evie ran over and hugged Mia back into her arms tightly.

God knew, when she came out to replace Mia and Alice, what was her mood seeing Byron hugging Mia.

It was like a serious crisis.

"What the hell are you doing?" Evie held Mia into the car. Mia was sound asleep.

Evie looked at Alice and unexpectedly lost her temper.

She didn't know what happened to Alice today.

Alice had never made such a mistake before.

"I don't know English words, so we went by the wrong way... Miss Mia Newton met that sir this afternoon, so... we went over to say hello..."

"This afternoon?" Evie trembled in fear.

This was the second time they met?

"That's the man who was hit by the flower..."

Evie almost collapsed.

How could it be so coincident?

As soon as Mia came back, she met Byron!

"Evie, what happened? Why are you in such a hurry?" Caspian asked.

Evie glanced at him and replied, "What's it to you?"

Caspian was speechless.

"Bid farewell to Mr. Brian Hansen for me. I'm heading back first," Evie said, and added, "Caspian, I wish you a successful blind date. Childhood sweetheart is indeed a good fate."
