Chapter 322 Missing Her Father

When Mia entered the room, Aiden was reading a book on the sofa.

Usually, at this time, he was in the study.

Seeing Mia return, he raised his eyelids, waiting for Mia to call him and then come over to tell him funny things about Byron, like a chirping bird.

But he didn't expect...

Mia didn't raise her head to look at the living room but went upstairs like a wandering ghost.

Aiden hesitated and followed her.

Mia returned to the room and plunged her head into the pillow.

Aiden stood at the door, walked in after looking for a while, and sat beside her. "Have you been bullied?"

Mia didn't speak.

Aiden encountered this situation for the first time.

He reached out and pushed Mia. "Have you been bullied?"

Mia wriggled a bit and sat up, crying with swollen eyes and tears. "Aiden..."

Her voice trembled from crying.

Aiden suddenly panicked.

Was she really being bullied?

That man didn't look good!

"Why don't we have a father?" Mia asked with a sob.

Aiden stunned.

"Mia wants a father." Mia curled her lips, and tears rolled down from her eyes.

When she was with Byron.

It was different from when she was with Jaxson and the others.

She felt at ease, very safe, and not afraid of anything.

"Mia, you can say that to me, but don't tell mummy. Mummy will be sad." Aiden clumsily hugged Mia and patted her on the back lightly. At the door.

Athena stood stiffly.

"Where did our father go?" Mia cried and asked.

Aiden lowered his eyelids to block the coldness in his eyes.

Aiden said, "No matter where he goes, he doesn't want us anymore. Since he doesn't want us, you shouldn't shed tears for such person."

Mia didn't speak.

She cried even more sadly.

Athena failed to push the door open in the end.

She went downstairs dejectedly.

Evie still didn't go home, drinking in the wine cellar.

Athena pushed open the door of the wine cellar and went in. Both of them were startled by each other.

"Didn't you go back?" Athena was surprised.

"Have you received Mia?" Evie continued to slump on the sofa. There was an empty and half-drink red wine bottle on the opposite coffee table.

"Umm."

Athena sat down opposite her.

Athena asked, "Why do you drink so much in the daylight?"

Evie leaned back on the back of the sofa, staring at the crystal chandelier on the ceiling of the wine cellar.

"I bought this chandelier when I went to Turkey with Caspian." Evie muttered to herself, "Looking at it now, it's really exaggerated and useless."

"Have you and Caspian been to Turkey? When did it happen?" Athena was a little surprised.

"I forgot." Evie shook her head. "Are you still worried that Byron will recognize Mia?"

"No..." Athena poured herself a glass. "I suddenly felt that maybe I cared too little about Aiden and Mia. I always thought that they didn't think about their father. However... Mia came back crying all the way and just told Aiden in the room that she missed her father."

"Little poor girl. Has she met her father that she misses her father?" Evie was a little drunk and spoke with a lisp.

Athena didn't speak.

She took a sip of wine.
