Chapter 341 Inherited Watch

"Those rumors are all false!" Byron said in a deep voice.

Athena looked indifferent. "You don't need to explain to me; it has nothing to do with me after all. Please let go of me now. Otherwise, don't blame me for being rude."

"Thea..."

Byron's attitude gradually softened.

In the past few years, he had reflected a lot.

During the years when Thea was by his side, he was always domineering, and she must feel wronged.

"I'm not Athena!"

Athena gave Byron a hard push.

And Byron staggered back two steps.

The person in front of him looked very impatient and speechless.

"Mr. Crawford, I am a member of the Stella Group. Please show some respect. If you touch me again, I will definitely sue you for sexual harassment!" After Athena finished speaking, she quickly opened the door and strode away.

What was Byron's expression just now?

Was he pretending to be pathetic to gain her sympathy?

In Byron's eyes, she should have been nothing more than a lookalike of Athena. Did Byron want her to be a stand-in again?

After Athena left, Byron stood where he was, with a confused and blank mind.

"Be patient."

Byron took a deep breath and murmured.

Now that he knew where she was, he could make a perfect plan to win her back. He couldn't scare her away again.

As Athena went downstairs, many eyes focused on her.

"Ms. Stella, you are indeed a beauty. And you look even better in a different dress!" Someone complimented her. Athena smiled lightly, "It's because Madam Campbell chose a beautiful dress."

"You're so sweet," Janice said cheerfully.

Maura gritted her teeth again.

And she couldn't stand it any longer.

"Chelsea, are you angry? You haven't come down for so long. The waiter didn't do it on purpose. Please forgive him."

Just when Athena did not show up, Maura had already said something similar to several rich wives who were on good terms with her.

She seemed to pity the waiter, but in fact, she was expressing Athena's lack of tolerance that a prominent family heir should possess.

Shame on Athena!

Athena looked at Maura silently.

Maura wouldn't give Athena a chance to defend herself, and now all she wanted was to provoke Athena. "When I was very young, I heard Madam Stella's servant accidentally crash her new sports car. But she saw the servant was poor, so she didn't hold him accountable. Chelsea, your dress didn't cost much, and if you're giving the waitress a hard time about it..."

"Indeed, the dress didn't cost much," Athena spoke indifferently.

Maura was overjoyed.

Finally, Athena was irritated!

"It's my watch that matters," Athena said lightly.

Maura was taken aback.

Athena couldn't really be stupid enough to claim against the servant in front of all these people, could she?

"What's wrong with the watch?" Janice hurriedly asked.

Athena looked at Janice and explained, "If it's just a diamond watch, it's fine. But that watch was given to my grandma by her mother, and then she gave it to me..." Athena didn't lie.

But the Stella family had a lot of jewelry like that, so the diamond watch didn't really mean that much.

"If that watch represents heritage, then it's important."

Behind her came the man's indifferent but commanding voice.

Athena didn't know what to say.

Why did Byron have to get involved in everything?

"But Byron, the waiter didn't do it on purpose!" Maura said hastily.

"Ms. Maura Campbell, just because he's weak doesn't mean he's right," Byron said coldly.

His eyes ran round the crowd and finally fell on the servant hiding in the corner.

The servant shuddered.
