Chapter 354 Mia Is Freya's Daughter?

"You should feel lucky your threatening didn't work with her." Byron said coldly, "Otherwise, you will regret it."

The man shuddered.

"You know what?" Byron glanced at the vice president of human resources. "According to the company rules, the head of security, today's scheduling manager, and that man should all be fired and never be hired again by all the enterprises of Imbe Group."

"Mr. Crawford!"

The head of security was shocked.

He did nothing wrong but was also fired!

"You may feel wronged, but it was your responsibility to train your subordinates," Byron said coldly.

After Mia left,

all Byron could think was how frightened Mia was, squatting in that corner and shivering.

The thought

made his heart ache so much that he wanted to break every bone of the man who scared Mia.

Byron came back to the building where the meeting was held

after handling the matter.

In the first-floor lobby of the Imbe Group Building,

everyone was nervous, including the receptionists and the security guard that caused the trouble.

This was the first time they had seen Mr. Crawford fire someone in person.

"I'll go to the monitoring room, take a screenshot of that little girl today, and make it into wallpaper! Next time she returns, I'll make sure she feels at home!" Another receptionist said.

However...

There was no chance for that receptionist to do that.

All the people working at the reception area were transferred to other positions that evening.

It was said that the new receptionists were trained by people working in the Office of the President.

The case of Bloor Food Industry Company was a bit complicated. Freya had to make a business trip and visit a widely respected director of the Bloor Food Industry Company. She just came back.

And she had already learned the rumor.

"Since when did you see Mr. Crawford so gentle and loving to children? I did some research, and Mr. Crawford has no siblings. That girl must be his illegitimate child! She must be!" "You are right. She does look like an illegitimate child. Just look at her!"

"If she has nothing to do with Mr. Crawford, why would he fire the head of security in public? Mr. Crawford doesn't usually do that."

"What are you talking about?"

Freya walked over smilingly. But her eyes looked cold.

"Ms. Bates!"

"Welcome back..."

The people who had been gossiping vigorously just now suddenly became quiet.

"What child?" Freya continued to ask.

Mia's face appeared in her head automatically.

III

"Well, a child came here this morning for Mr. Crawford and got thrown out by a security guard. When Mr. Crawford discovered it, he left a meeting and hurried over. I heard he also beat that security guard and took the child to the Office of the President..."

Someone explained.

"It was a girl, wasn't it?" Freya tried hard to suppress her anger. "She has big cute eyes."

"I didn't expect you to know that girl, Ms. Bates." People were surprised.

"Of course, I know her." Freya lowered her eyelids, and her face blushed.

"Could she be the child of you and Mr. Crawford?" Someone exclaimed, "Come to think of it, she did bear some resemblance to you!"

Freya immediately raised her finger and pressed it to her lips. "That's nonsense. Alright, you should get back to work. I have a proposal to make."

After Freya left,

people began to talk in excitement.

"Ms. Bates didn't deny it! So, Mr. Crawford is the girl's father!"

"Definitely!"

The discussion went on.

"By the way, I suppose Ms. Bates and Mr. Crawford must have married by now, considering how big their kid already is."

"If they did get married, it would prove that Freya was the one who ruined Mr. Crawford's previous relationship." As people were discussing, a woman in high heels walked out of the water bar with a cup of coffee.
