Chapter 398 I Have You With Me

Caspian answered the phone with a gentle voice, "Are you done?"

"Yes. Come pick me up." Dahlia's voice was sweet.

But it was not as sweet as Evie's.

"Sorry. After I settled your grandma down, something happened to the company. So I can't pick you up," Caspian said apologetically.

"Well..." Dahlia was obviously not happy. "Since you have something to do, go ahead with it."

"I will have time in a few days. I will take you on vacation," Caspian continued.

"Okay! Caspian, you are the best!"

Caspian hung up the phone.

He was silent for a while and then smashed the phone hard against the car window.

Immediately, the window glass exploded and shattered.

Evie and Athena settled Ada properly.

"We should have come here earlier. Look at the ward here. The ward in that hospital is bad! Besides, there was a lunatic!" Evie snorted angrily.

Ada forced a smile.

She took Evie's hand. "I am fine. That old lady didn't do it on purpose. She is sick. Forget it."

Evie's face darkened instantly.

"Your mother lost contact with me after she remarried, but she was kind to me in the past. I hope that she can be happy with her husband. If there is another problem because of me, I..." "So, for others' happiness, you have to sacrifice yourself?" Evie asked. "You said she was nice to you. Didn't you treat her well?"

When Evie's mother got remarried, Ada gave almost all the property left by her father to her mother.

Ada said that she had a pension and could be rehired to teach at the school, so she didn't have to worry about her life.

She said that it was not easy to start a second marriage. Evie's mother should bring more money to be confident.

"Don't say that!" Ada became anxious, and her eyes turned red.

Evie frowned, turned her head away, and didn't agree.

If Dahlia had a good attitude, maybe she could think about it, but... Dahlia even wanted to frame her grandma!

Evie knew her grandma well.

Her grandma was docile and kind. How could she take the initiative to provoke others?

Evie was sure about that without watching the surveillance video!

"Grandma." Athena stepped forward with a smile. "Evie is stubborn. I will try to persuade her. The most important thing for you now is to take good care of yourself!" Ada hesitated to speak.

At last, she sighed.

"I am useless. If I didn't fall and went to the hospital, nothing would happen." As she spoke, she suddenly thought of something. "Oh no!"

"What's wrong?" Evie hurriedly asked.

"I forgot the talisman you brought back there!" Ada suddenly became anxious.

"It's not a big deal," Athena smiled. "Evie, have dinner with your grandma. I'll go over there."

"I will go..."

"Forget it. If you meet them again, you will suffer as you are alone."

Evie didn't know what to say.

She didn't know if she would suffer. If they picked up a fight, she would go all out.

But she had enough of the love between Caspian and Dahlia today. If she met them one more time, she would be sick!

"Thank you." Evie wrapped her arms around Athena's waist, acting like a spoiled child. "Fortunately, I have you with me today."

"Come on."

Athena pushed Evie's head away.

After saying goodbye to Ada, Athena took the car key and went out.

Back at the hospital, she quickly found the talisman.

When leaving the hospital, she suddenly remembered that Alivia was also there. After hesitating for a moment, she walked back.
