Chapter 448 Making Breakfast

Evie ran over to take a look. Who else would it be if it wasn't Aron?

She hesitated for a moment.

The breakfast was not ready yet, but in the end, she couldn't lock him outside, could she?

She finally opened the door crying.

Aron's face appeared at the door, and he said with a smile, "Good morning, Mrs. Timberlake."

He also had a bouquet of delicate red roses in his hand.

Evie took the roses and let Aron in before apologizing, "I overslept, so I haven't made breakfast yet..."

Aron took off his shoes and said, "There's no rush. Just take your time. I'm not hungry yet."

"Then sit in the living room for a while. I'll be quick!" Soon after, Evie went to the kitchen with the roses in her arms.

She had listed a lot of tasty breakfasts in her mind last night.

Initially, she planned to make it while looking at the recipe.

But now that Aron had come, she would look unprofessional if she were to follow a recipe.

So, there was no other way aside from making the breakfast she would usually make, which were sandwiches and milkshakes.

But still, for these two types of food, her performance had not been very stable either.

Evie was taking the fruits for the milkshake from the refrigerator when Aron came over.

Evie hastily said, "You don't need to come here. I can do it!"

Aron asked, "Shall I put the flowers?"

Evie nodded and began to look around. "The vase..."

Aron soon found it. "Here."

Evie nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes, yes!"

Aron just looked at her amusedly and said, "Mrs. Timberlake, don't mind me. Just do your work."

Evie was not considered very experienced in the business world, but she was very calm.

Compared to her working in the kitchen, the contrast must not be that much.

While Aron was trimming off the branches and luscious green leaves as well as the sharp thorns of the roses, he also glanced at Evie every so often.

How to say that? Well, her organized chaos was very astonishing.

When the flowers had been well-arranged in the vase, Aron put it in the living room before returning to the kitchen.

And Athena had finished making the sandwiches the moment Aron came.

Looking at the sandwiches, Evie secretly acknowledged her handiwork and thought, "Great. The bread is not burnt this time, and the eggs are just slightly broken..." So, she clapped her hands and said, "It's done!"

Then Evie brought the sandwiches and milkshakes out from the kitchen before putting them on the dining table.

Aron walked to the dining table and sat down while Evie took the seat across from him and watched him with sparkling eyes.

In fact, the combination of this breakfast was also the kind she often made for Mia and Aiden so that those children could digest the breakfast easily.

Mia had even always praised her and said that it was delicious!

Aiden was not good at praising someone, but he finished the food every time.

According to Evie's observation, Aiden would not take a second bite if the food was not delicious.

That referred to the breakfast made by Jaxson.

After Aron took the first bite, Evie asked expectantly, her eyes sparkling, "Is it delicious?"

Aron nodded and gave her a thumbs up. "It's delicious!"

Evie breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good! That's good!"

Truthfully, Aron did not like eggs.

But for fear of dampening Mrs. Timberlake's enthusiasm, he still finished all the sandwiches heartily. Even when he accidentally bit an eggshell, he spat it out secretly.

However, the milkshake was exactly Aron's taste, and he even drank two glasses before he left.

Aron had eaten to his heart's content, and he started to get addicted to such an excellent breakfast. He said, "Mrs. Timberlake, what if you move to my place first? Only when the renovation of your father's house is completed, then we'll go there together. What do you think?"
