Chapter 537 I Can Fight Against Eight Men

The designer Evie went to see was introduced by Aron to design the office building of the new company.

It was built on the land that Aron gave to Evie.

The designer was a well-known master architect and Aron's alumnus. He wouldn't work for others, no matter how much he was paid.

Before the master started designing, he would know the details of the client's requirements. The meeting did not end until nine in the evening. After the meeting.

Aron had just finished his work and came to pick Evie up. They had dinner with the master and his design team.

After dinner.

Aron and Evie bid farewell to everyone.

"Are you tired?" Aron looked at Evie. He raised his hand and massaged her shoulders.

Evie wanted to say that she was not tired.

In the past, no matter how tired Evie was, she would pretend to be fine in front of Caspian and her family so as not to make them worried.

At that moment.

She glanced at Aron.

Aron had told her that she didn't need to be stubborn in front of him.

"A little." Evie nodded. "I have been sitting for too long, and the air in the office was stuffy. I must use the best fresh air system in my company to ventilate and ensure the physical and mental health of the employees."

Evie was cute and eloquent.

Seeing that, Aron smiled in satisfaction.

"By the way."

Evie looked around.

"Here is close to Sycamore Street. I want to go there and have a look."

"Are you not tired?" Aron asked.

"A little tired. It's no big deal." Evie waved her hand and then realized something. "What about you? Are you tired?"

Aron was pleased.

"No, let's go. I'll go to drive the car."

A few minutes later.

The car stopped near Sycamore Street.

Parking in the old district was a problem. Aron bought a parking space two days from, but the procedure had not been completed, so he couldn't park the car for the time being.

Aron could only drive around and park the car in an open-air parking lot a few hundred feet away.

Since Evie was tired, he put her down at the gate of the community. "You go upstairs first. I'll park the car and come over."

Evie nodded and looked outside.

The old district had quieted down. Although there were street lights, they were not bright.

Evie teased Aron, "Don't you want me to be with you? It's dark on the way. Mr. Timberlake, won't you be afraid?"

Aron approached Evie.

He approached suddenly, so Evie was stunned.

Aron looked at her and raised his hand to touch her nose. "Mr. Timberlake is good at close combat, Kickboxing, and Taekwondo. I can fight against eight men simultaneously, so I am not afraid." Evie was speechless.

Her cheeks burned with embarrassment.

"Well, you can go by yourself."

Evie muttered. Then, she quickly opened the door and got out of the car.

"Mrs. Timberlake, slow down," Aron shouted with a smile.

Evie motioned OK but didn't look back.

How could she look back? Her face had gone red as a beat.

Aron watched her enter the community. He shook his head with a smile and started the car to head toward the parking lot.

In the past few days, the night was no longer cold.

The wind was blowing, neither cold nor hot. It was comfortable.

"Evie, you are back."

When Evie entered the community, a neighbor recognized her and greeted her kindly.

"Yes, long time no see," Evie said with a smile.

"Your house has been renovated. Are you moving back?" the neighbor asked.

"Yes." Evie nodded. "I'll come to play chess with you."

"OK!"

Evie waved her hand and walked toward her apartment building.

The neighbor remembered something and shouted at Evie, "Evie, congratulations to you. Remember to introduce your husband to us."
