Chapter 56 Huge Transfer

Byron didn't expect that there was someone else in the room.

He frowned.

He went straight into the cloakroom, changed into his home clothes, and came out again.

"Who let you in?”

"You forgot your phone." Heather hesitated for a moment before continuing, "Miss Newton called just now..."

"When? You didn't answer it, did you?"

Byron hurried over and took back his mobile phone.

"I accidentally picked it up. But she seemed to have called the wrong number and hung up immediately." Heather said, "Don't be so nervous. I won't do anything to her."

Byron didn't speak and called Athena back.

However, he heard nothing but a notification.

Athena's phone had already been turned off.

"She is very cautious. She will never dial the wrong number." Byron looked at the time and called the hotel.

After asking, he found out that Athena had already checked

out and gone to the airport.

"She will fly back to Girard City in a while. I'll pick her

up." Byron took a coat and said, "You can decide on the

engagement matters yourself."

Byron was certain that Athena called him because she had

something to say to him.

He wondered if Athena regretted the messages she had sent to him on WhatsApp.

But that didn't matter.

What mattered was Byron knew that he really wanted to see

Athena soon.

He also wanted to see Athena as soon as she returned to

Girard City.

"Byron..."

Heather stood up.

She wanted to make Byron stay.

But Byron ignored her and rushed out of the door hurriedly.

Heather sat down dejectedly.

She turned to look at the two real estate certificates again.

Then, Heather thought viciously, "It would be the best if that damn flight had an accident and never returned!"

Not long after Byron arrived at the airport,

Athena's flight landed safely.

Byron went to the pick-up gate and waited for her, which was something he had never done before.

He was tall, with an outstanding figure and appearance.

As he stood there, everyone couldn't help being attracted.

Time passed little by little.

The passengers came out one after another, but Byron never

saw Athena.

Before his patience was exhausted, he called Athena.

However, her phone was still switched off.

It seemed that Athena hadn't turned it on.

After a while, Byron still hadn't seen Athena.

Therefore, he called Liam instead.

Soon, Liam replied tremblingly, "Mr. Crawford, Miss Newton didn't get on this flight!"

"She didn't get on the flight?"

"Yes. Maybe... she wants to spend two more days in Salin

City!"

Byron seemed extremely annoyed and hung up the phone directly.

He went back to the car,

then sent Athena a message on WhatsApp.

[Call me back.]

The message was sent, but it was blocked.

Generally, Byron should be furious by now.

A flood of new messages suddenly appeared, causing her phone to freeze for a second.

And in the end,

Athena saw Byron's transfer reminder.
