Chapter 902 With the cold breeze blowing past her face, Adina could barely feel the pain.

She clenched her fists and spoke, one word at a time. "Earl, what exactly do you want to do?" "I want you to leave the city with me." Earl stroked her chin. "I'll let Duke go as long as you come with me."

Adina looked at him. "What if I refuse?"

"Refuse? Hmph!" Earl sneered. "I'll let him meet Hades, then." He lowered his head and sniffed her neck. "How unpleasant. You smell like Duke." Adina lowered her gaze. She caught the dagger that slipped out from her sleeves. She raised it and stabbed it towards his neck. He seemed to have expected it long ago, as he quickly took a step back. "You're digging your own grave, Adina." His expression turned cold, colder than the winter breeze. "Let's die together, then." She raised the dagger and charged forward again.

'It has been about a month, and I've had enough of this!

'I rather die fighting with Earl than being terrified all the time. 'If he's dead, no one will take control over me...

'I'm sure Duke will have a way to settle the rest of the controllers.'

Earl maintained his distance from Adina, knowing that he would not be able to defeat her.

However, she continuously charged forward fiercely. The dagger scraped across his cheek, and it started bleeding.

He touched his face and his fingers were covered in blood.

A murderous look started forming on his face as his eyes filled with rage.

"Adina, since you insist. Let me show you how to play." He revealed a wicked smile and took out the gold earrings.

"Let's have a starter."

He watched Adina rush towards him as he gave a command.

-"Kick Alden out of the Winters family's mansion."

As soon as the command was given, the sentence kept echoing in her head. The dagger that she raised was lowered. She stared at him angrily, "You're despicable! The child is innocent! You're so shameless!' "He modified my program. That's not so innocent, is it?" He sneered, "If you don't complete the command within twenty-four hours, there'll be more terrible things waiting for you, Adina. Let's take our time and play."

He turned and left after he was done speaking.

He drove off as his car disappeared into the night. However, the voice in Adina's head only grew clearer. The back of her head began to ache.

It would not go away until she did what was told. The more she resisted, the more pain she would feel. The dagger in her hand fell to the ground.

She held her head and struggled as she headed back to the mansion. Before she reached the entrance, a tall and slender figure rushed over to her. "Addy, where were you? What's wrong? What happened?" Duke carried her and hurriedly returned to the mansion The house was warm, and Adina did not feel any better. The back of her head still hurts, and her thoughts were disorganized. "Don't talk to me. Leave me alone."

She hugged her knees and buried her face in between her knees in agony, like an ostrich trying to escape from the world. Duke bent over and picked her up. "Go lie down on a bed, then."
