My Remarried Wife By Shi Wu Chapter 53
At last, Greg followed the order and left. Before he left, he considerately closed the door for him. Theroom returned to silence. He put the towel that had been wiped on the table and pursed his thin lips.“Can crying solve the problem?”
Forsythia kept crying. He wiped her tears for a long time. Then he withdrew his fingers and sneered, “ifyou don’t want to give up, fight back. Tears are the most useless thing in the world. ” AlthoughForsythia was drunk, she could vaguely hear someone talking in her ear, but she could not hear clearlywhat they were talking about. She only felt that her head was about to explode. When she struggled toopen her eyes, she saw a tall figure walking through the room. The figure is so familiar. But who? Withheavy eyelids and heavy consciousness, forsythia closed her eyes and soon fell asleep again. Theconsequence of the hangover was a headache. On the second day, when she woke up, her head wasstill painful. She covered her head and sat up. She didn’t calm down until she saw the room was bright.
After sitting there blankly for about ten seconds, forsythia turned around and looked at the bed. He laythere as usual, obviously not getting up. Forsythia wanted to grab her phone, but she didn’t replace it underthe pillow. She had to get out of bed and tiptoed to the bathroom. When she passed by the table, shefound that all the things on it were hers. Forsythia took a look at her watch and found it was still early. So she went to the bathroom to wash her face and felt less headache. In the mirror, her eyes weredark, her face was pale, her hair was messy, and her eyes were swollen. How could she look ugly?Forsythia covered her face in disbelief. ‘how could this happen? She almost thought that she had seena ghost, so she pinched her cheeks hard to make herself look a little red.
Then she soaked her eyes in cold water with a towel, and her eyes were not so swollen. Seeing thatshe finally looked like a nice person, she heaved a sigh of relief and walked out of the bathroom again. When passing by the bed, forsythia couldn’t help but take a look at him. Suddenly, a picture flashedthrough her mind. It was a slender figure walking in the room. Thinking of this, forsythia suddenlystopped. She was drunk last night. Was it an illusion? But why was that scene so clear?
It seemed to be him, but Then she fixed her eyes on the wheelchair. He had always been sitting in awheelchair, and she had helped him. It was obvious that he could not use any strength. Was it becauseshe was drunk and confused that she got the wrong person? Or in a dream? Forsythia rubbed heraching forehead and went back to bed, intending to sleep a little longer. As soon as she lay down, some more pictures came into her mind. In the bar, she threw herself into his arms and wrapped herarms around his neck, and in the car, she hugged his thin waist and kissed in the elevator.
The scene entered her mind. Although it was broken, forsythia could almost guess what had happenedsince it was pieced together. She was so frightened that she didn’t dare to move. Last night, she wasdrunk and didn’t expect to do so many things. Was she the same as before?
In the past, she would never let her mind wander. After returning home, she would cook, take a showerand then sleep. But why did she do that last night? Was it because she was too sad? Or did she thinkthat he was reliable, so her heart was in a mess? She closed her eyes and her mind was in a mess. Asa result, she fell asleep soon. When she woke up again, she was awakened by the sound in the room. She opened her eyes and sat up. She found that Richie had already stood up and was washing in thebathroom. Forsythia turned over and pulled the quilt over her head. She felt ashamed.
She had done such a shameful thing last night. She was so depressed. She must wait until he left. Itwould be better if the two of them didn’t meet each other. After this decision, Forsythia was finallyrelieved. The door of the bathroom opened, and there was the sound of a wheelchair rolling. Forsythiaopened a small crack and peeped. As expected, she saw that Richie was sitting in a wheelchair. Sheknew that he couldn’t stand up. She must be drunk and confused, or she must have seen the wrongperson. Wait, why was the wheelchair coming towards her?
Forsythia suddenly put down the quilt and straightened her body. “Get up as soon as you wake up.”Said Richie in a cold voice. Lying there, forsythia pretended not to hear him and told herself that shewas sleeping with her eyes closed. “Shame on you?” ‘Does he know I’m awake? “Didn’t you do a goodjob last night?”He continued. Forsythia bit her lower lip and thought, ‘so what? I can pretend that I don’t
know.’. After a while, there was no sound outside. Forsythia felt strange and quietly poked her headout. There was no figure at the place where the wheelchair was. It seemed that Richie had left.Forsythia heaved a sigh of relief and finally lifted the quilt to come out.
She was almost suffocated to death When she uncovered the quilt, she was stunned, because shethought the man who had left was still sitting there, just in a different position. The two of them lookedat each other in the air, and the scene was out of control. Silence In a second or two, she bit her lowerlip, jumped off the bed, and rushed to the bathroom. “Are you ashamed of yourself because of whathappened last night?” However, what he said made her stop abruptly. Forsythia turned around. Shehad planned to run away, but now she changed her mind. She stood still and tightened her handssilently.
“No.” Forsythia bit her lower lip and looked at the handsome face of Richie, her red lips moving slightly.“Last night, thank you for taking me back. ” Hearing this, he raised his eyebrows and squinted at her. “Itseems that you remember?” “Almost, I remember them all.”Then she tucked her hair behind her ear, bither lower lip, and hesitated for a while before she said, “last night, did I do anything excessive? ” Thosememories were rather fragmented. She probably knew what had happened, but she didn’t knowanything else, such as after kissing? What happened? She wouldn’t talk nonsense to him, would she? While she was thinking, his eyes fell on her face, so hot that they almost burned a hole in it.
When she came to her senses, she happened to meet him. “Something excessive?” “What do youthink?” Hearing this, forsythia tightened the corner of her clothes, so nervous that her eyelashestrembled slightly. “I don’t think I have done anything to you. What do you want to do? ” She wasunclear! “What? Do you want to do something for me? “
