My Silver Alpha
Chapter 2

A pack of huge wolves were running fast down a steep path full of bushes and rocks. They were all being led by an alpha male, a wolf that stood out from the rest. He was a specimen of incredible beauty, the leader of the pack. He was a wolf with thick gray fur, his eyes were emerald and the animal’s entire body radiated power and bravery.

That afternoon a group of wolves had gone out hunting in the company of their alpha, the town where these wild animals lived needed to feed since they were a large family. And given the food shortage, they had to travel hundreds of kilometers to replace food for everyone. It was not an easy task for these wolves who called themselves “the hunters”; only they could leave the domain of the wolves to go in search of food.

The reason why they were the only ones with this right was easy, the forest where they lived was full of human hunters. They liked to hunt wolves just for their thick fur, but what these people didn’t know was that they were dealing with werewolves. So far no wolf from the Silver Moon pack had perished at the hands of these savage humans, but that didn’t mean it couldn’t happen at some point.

Therefore the alpha of the pack had selected a group of wolves fast and agile enough for the task of hunting. Eren was a very cautious alpha. He defended his people to the death and was not willing to allow the lives of any of his people to be in danger. The surveillance around the town was extreme, no one crossed the boundaries without him being aware. He wasn’t a 500 year old alpha for nothing, he had earned the respect of his people over the years and that was something he deeply appreciated.

But not only did he take charge of the entire Silver Moon town, his beta Deon always stayed in the town taking care of everyone. He was his best friend and, like him, he earned the respect and affection of the wolves. Despite being younger than Eren, he was just as cunning and intuitive. So he could leave silver moon in charge of him with his eyes closed.

-Alpha. He mentally calls out to one of the hunters running alongside him. —We have covered hectares and still there is no animal to hunt.

—We will replace it, we must be patient.

—But we have gone too far from the town my alpha, isn’t it risky? We could be attacked by hunters.

—They are very far away, I can smell them miles from here. Eren answers, stopping in his tracks.

He raises his nose upward, inhaling a particular aroma. Since he left the house, turning into a wolf, an unusual fragrance invaded his nostrils, and although he knew that what the alpha was doing was wrong, he was moving away from the pack because he followed that scent. that kept him curious… his mission was to replace food for dinner that night, but for some reason his motives changed drastically.

Eren felt a little confused, because he never drooled as much as he was doing that day. He felt very uneasy in the face of that cloying fragrance. He knew something wasn’t right, he needed to replace out what it was that had him so anxious. Even the pheromones in his body had turned on.

—Alpha, are you okay? asks the same wolf next to her. Everyone was tracking some animal while their leader stopped.

-What are you taking about?

—We have noticed that your aroma is much stronger than before, is everything okay?

Eren knew it, his own scent had become pungent and possessive. But it was inevitable not to feel that way. That aroma drove him crazy, he just wanted to replace out

what was making him so bad. He could not attribute that reaction to his jealousy, since he was still very far away. But then, what was it? Ignoring the wolf that was next to him, Eren continued to sniff the slightly cold air, white steam came out of his nose but even so his sense of smell was too keen to miss anything.

Then his nose caught exactly the place where that aroma that drove his insides crazy came from. The wolf’s greenish eyes focused on that place, but should he go? He agreed to risk the lives of his children just because he was curious to know what it was about, although at that point he was beginning to suspect it. He stared at the corresponding path that he had to take, it was the route that humans took to get to the town.

—Alpha, we are near a road where humans travel. He indicates a wolf coming next to him.

—We’ll go see something.

And with those words he started running in that direction driven by curiosity. His whole body asked him to go to that place, and every time they got closer the aroma became more intense. It had to be that, there was no other explainable reason to put a name to what he was feeling. But why in that place? He wasn’t liking that. Taking his body to the extreme, Eren ran like a wild wolf, dodging rocks and bushes, followed by his pack.

Then, being so close to the road where cars were traveling, the dull noise of some yantas caught the attention of the wolf and his companions. Everyone looked towards the road where a bus was coming in a hurry which had lost control. You could see the driver trying to maintain control of the steering wheel but it had been impossible for him to maneuver the huge bus. Without remedy, it overturned, beginning to spin on the desolate mountain road.

The wolves were hidden in the bushes observing the impending disaster in which they could do nothing. In the end, the bus crossed the yellow safety barriers, falling down the ravine that existed next to the road.

—Alpha, we must get out of here. Humans will come to help those people. It will catch us in the middle.

Eren noticed his nervous wolves, it was not that they were afraid of humans, it was just that they were all trying to keep their existence and especially nature a secret. That’s why they had been alive for so many years, to keep themselves hidden from a cruel humanity… but for some reason he couldn’t leave, that aroma that dragged him all the way was inside that bus full of people who were complaining.

-Stay here. I order the boys.

He ran towards the bus that was standing with its tires up while smoke was pouring from the side, the window panes were broken so this allowed the alpha to look out while he sniffed… as soon as he did the first thing he saw was a pair of eyes. Blues stared at him. Eren felt a whiplash in his heart, that girl looked at him firmly without blinking.

Suddenly she closed her eyes, becoming unconscious. Eren realized that the scent that had brought him to that place was coming off of her, he couldn’t leave her there… some of her wolves approached him.

—Eren we must go, the humans are approaching. They are hunters!

Without thinking much about it, the alpha transformed into a human and as best he could, he put his naked body inside the bus, pulling out that girl surrounded by dead and other injured people… While with her in his arms, he felt his heart beat more than necessary. That woman was definitely his moon. Taking it firmly, Eren ran straight into the forest, disappearing into the undergrowth.
