I take it. I try to remember if she had one on her but the truth is that she didn’t notice that. So I rummage inside the bandit, taking out the woman’s wallet.

—Valentina Hokins. He whispered, reading her documents. “So, that’s your name.” He smiles looking at her while her heart thundered like crazy. —You finally come to me, after so many years.

Eren touched her forehead, feeling it very hot, it seemed like she had a high fever. The girl was sweating buckets. She left a wet handkerchief on her forehead and left the bedroom. Lili would take care of her in a while.

The alpha directed his steps to where they used to hold town meetings. Everyone was present murmuring to one another. To Eren’s ears, most of the comments were not good, they were concerned for his well-being. The alpha’s grandeur was present, Eren’s aroma became noticeable to the crowd who, as soon as they smelled him, turned around to see him approaching them.

They stepped aside allowing him passage until they were in the center next to Deon who was trying to calm them down.

—Alpha should allow each head of the family to go out hunting, that way we would cover more ground and everyone would bring food home.

Of course he had thought about that, but the truth is that he was very risky with so many hunters out there. If he sent not so powerful wolves, they could perish just because they wanted to feed. He understood their needs but it was a risk he didn’t want to take.

—I can’t allow it, they would be in many dangers in the open field. They know the number of hunters out there is increasing.

The babbling stopped a little, the wolves seemed to be calmer understanding their alpha’s words. Since there was no more objection from his people, Eren decided to leave to talk to the hunters… the boys were in an area of ​​the town that was used to carry what they hunted, in this way they kept the bears away.

As soon as the wolves sensed the arrival of their alpha they turned around to see him arrive, some were still finishing dressing, others busy preparing the meat that was hunted.

-Alpha! The one who had been in charge greets.

Eren knew it, it was no secret to him that if he didn’t replace a solution they would soon die of hunger. It was a great responsibility that he carried on his shoulders. He did not understand what was happening, as far as he knew the rest of the herds were very far away and quite supplied with animals to hunt.

After studying maps of roads and lush forests all afternoon and part of the night, Eren and Deon realized that there was no more land to explore. The only thing they had left was forbidden land, belonging to a pack that disintegrated many years ago. The alpha had no idea where the leader of that pack was, some of those wolves came to their own pack claiming that their alpha and son had mysteriously disappeared overnight. They were also told that their domains were rich in food.

Eren leaves, leaving the Silver Moon problem behind to focus on one thing, Valentina. She was worried about the girl’s health; she was too hurt to get out of that bed. And the whole time he was away from home he was thinking one thing about her, it could be her moon but the best thing for her, for the town even for himself was to let her return to her world. She didn’t fit into his and never would, no matter how much it bothered him and he regretted that having to be without her was the only option he had left.

Before she ended up rejecting him, but behind all that was also hidden a tremendous fear, he didn’t want the same thing to happen to him that happened to her father. As soon as Valentina recovered he would send her back into her life, she would never hear from them again.
