"I'm sorry but could you repeat that in my better ear?" I asked Ilene as Itilted my head to other side and leaned closer to her.

"What? I'm marrying Ka-"

"That's what I thought you said. Ilene," I backed away a little from herand tightly gripped my towel, "Please don't Make me catch a case.”llene stared at me with a lost expression while I was fucking fuming.

"I don't see why my wedding is making you so mad. I mean if you don'tlike the color of the invite, I can get it changed for you.” Ilene eyed theinvite with narrowed eyes.

"Color of the invite? Color of the FUCKING INVITE?" I asked as I beganto laugh uncontrollably.

llene raised a brow at me and wagged her finger in my face, "We mightbe besties Danica but watch how you talk to me. I am an Alpha.”

"Bitch we were never besties. This bullshit is only one and it sure as hellisn't on my side."

I noticed Ilene slightly turn a light shade of pink, "You are no longerinvited to my wedding!" She said in a high pitched tone

"Fuck you and your imaginary wedding llene! He isn't marrying you andhe never was. So whatever Cloud you are on, I suggest you come backdown because it's got you fucked up... As well as me."

llene growled at me and I tightened my towel, preparing myself foranything she may throw at me. Goddess only know how I have therestraint to not jump her.

"You like him don't you?" She asked,"WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM HE'SMINE!"

"Listen here Bitch, he is-" I was cut off by the sudden impact of a punchllene threw that nearly knocked me off my feet.

I glared at her and spit a small pool of blood that was gathering in mymouth in her face and she screamed loudly.

Kaden's POV

"Alpha, there was a young female here looking for you.” A packmember told me as I opened the door to the pack house.

I immediately knew it was Danica, due to the scent.

"Yes, thank you Ophelia. Where is she?" I asked the young girl whopointed up.

"I think she's in your office.”

"Thank you." I said and began to walk up to my office, anxious to seemy mate.

"Oh! And Ilene was looking for you again!" Ophelia called out and Ifrowned to myself.

I had made it clear to Ilene that I was not marrying her. She acts like aderanged female, coming back rejection after rejection after rejection.It's insane! Well, Ilene is insane. I've been trying to get in contact withher father to tell him there never will be a wedding but I always get a"he’s busy" or "he's out of town" kind of response from his pack.

So I think it's pretty safe to say the bastard is avoiding me but noworries, I'm just waiting on the day I have no work to complete to godown to his pack personally and-

"WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM HE'S MINE!"

I stopped dead in my tracks at the shrill irritating voice that could onlybelong to Ilene. This broad just give up.

I listened attentively to try to see if she spoke again so I'd know exactlywhere she is. llene's scent was scattered all over the place. Meaning shehad been all over my pack house. Great. My guards do their job, trustme but Ilene has been coming here so much and so often, I thinkthey've given up on driving her away.

Wait, Danica is here...and llene is here...

Oh shit.

Danica's POV

"GET OFF OF ME!" Ilene screamed as she flailed her arms wildly while Isat on her back, gripping her hair tightly in my hand.

"Then say there is no wedding." I said with a growl

"Get your disgusting fucking hands off me! My wedding and my fiancéare none of your business!"

"Wrong answer." I tightened my grip on the fist full of hair in my handsand pulled on it roughly.

"Hey what's all that-" Aaron's eyes widened at the sight before him.My grip on llene’s hair never faltered while I looked directly at him andthe small group of wolves behind him.

Everyone's gaze was fixated on the screaming llene and the almost halfnaked me in the towel.

"Aaron. What's all that screami- Danica! Who's that?" Racheal asked asshe made her way through the crowd to her husband's side.

"That's the crazy girl trying to marry Kaden.” Aaron semi-whisperedwhich was a fail since we all heard him.

"Oh Irene?" She asked again and Aaron nodded.

"Luna, shouldn't we get the Alpha?" A little girl who looked about 1 0asked Racheal but she shook her head.

"Oh No sweetie. This one needs her ass-I mean..She needs some senseknocked into her. I suggest we all clear the hallway and pretend wenever saw anything or stay and watch. Anyone got a Snickers?"

"My Daddy will kill every one of you!!" llene screamed and I scoffed andlet go of her hair suddenly, causing her to slam her face into the floor."Someone's going to need a bandaid for that bruise.” Racheal said thencoughed lightly.

"Everyone move."

The crowd of people scattered as his voice rose about 3 octaves and Iknew I was screwed.

Kaden walked by the pack members as they had cleared a walkway forhim.

"What's going on here?" He asked, his eyes piercing into mine and Iclutched my towel.

"She attacked me Baby!" Ilene screamed and scrambled to her feetwhile holding her head which I knew must be killing her about now.Kaden looked to his left, then to his right and then finally lookedbehind him and then turned to back in Ilene and my direction.

"I know damn well I told you to never show your ass here again so youcan't be talking to me."

"Place your bets.." I heard Racheal whisper to the people around herand Aaron was first to drop a $20 in her hand.

"Can you two stop for like 5 minutes?" Kaden said without turningaround and Racheal rolled her eyes before nudging Aaron.

"I'm keeping that $20." She said with a smile then sent me a wink as Itried to hold in my laughter.

"Kaden but your we-" Ilene began but was cut off by a loud snort fromsomeone in the small crowd of people.

Kaden sighed and brushed past her, making his way to stand right infront of me,” Are you okay?"

He asked me and I nodded.

He eyed me up and down for a few seconds then shut his eyes andsighed deeply.

"Someone get her some clothes. Quick!"

"Ew, don't talk to her Kaden. She tried to kill me!"

"Sweetheart, you're not relevant, why do you keep embarrassingyourself?" Racheal asked as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"I think it's about time you leave Ilene. You are not welcome on thisland and I'll be sure to personally let your father know that."

Kaden took hold of my hand, dragging my attention away from thescene and opened his office door, "Come on. Too many eyes are onyou."

A few wolf whistles were heard from and I blushed a bright pink.

"We'll see how Daddy feels about this." Ilene said softly to herself asshe watched me with hate in her eyes as she pushed people to the sideto get her exit.

"You guys are free to push her back, just so you know." Racheal said asshe waved her fingers in the air as a way of saying “bye’ and pulled herhusband with her as she left.

Kaden pulled me into his office and closed the door behind us. Heleaned against the door with his hand over his mouth.

"I hope you didn't actually believe..me and her..."

"No. I didn't." I replied and looked down at my feet, still somewhatblushing from before.

He breathed a sigh of relief and shot me a smile. Goddess, he isbreathtaking

"We need to get rid of that.” Kaden said.

"What?" I asked with wide eyes. He leaned off the door and made hisway to me, moving my hair away from my neck, exposing Richard'smark.

"That."

"Oh." I had almost forgotten about that since it hasn't really burned orbothered me in a while.

"But we have enough time for that. Whenever you're ready, okay?" Hespoke softly as he looked down at me.

"Hey. I just saw Ilene... Oh..bad time?" Aiden said as he opened the doorand once receiving a glare from Kaden, he started to back away,"Okayokay. I can take a hint." He smirked then shut the door.

"Danica" Kaden cleared his throat,"Um..will you uh.. Go out with metomorrow night?”
