“Then why do you regard Nash so highly?” Irvine followed up. This

would lower himself before Mr. Calcraft,” Walter said and then turned

to look through his contacts.

Irvine sat in his chair, stunned. Walter’s last words continued to echo

“Hey, Son, convene a family meeting immediately. Starting today, don’t provoke anyone named Calcraft, especially if they’re young. There’s no need to ask for a reason. Ask again and I’ll break your

legs.”
