Lana threw the stick to the side and ran to Nash. She had just caught smoke rising from the other side of the island and was planning to tell Nash about it when she saw him staggering and falling to the ground. Lana crouched before Nash and shook him. "Mr. Calcraft, Mr. Calcraft, wake up!"

Suddenly, the black-and-white snake darted toward Lana like an arrow, so fast that an ordinary person could not hope to react to it. But then, white light emanated from Lana, throwing the snake off and breaking it into two pieces. When Lana regained her composure, she noticed the inky blackness on Nash's thigh.

Nash was a doctor. Ordinary poison would not knock him out. The toxin was localized and had not spread, which meant that Nash had taken some measures before losing consciousness. Now, all she needed to do was suck the poison out and he should wake up. However, the bite was in an embarrassing spot, and Lana's face flushed bright red. After hesitating for several seconds, she braced herself and bent down. She sucked a mouthful of poisonous blood and turned her head to spit it out.

The poisonous blood stained the ground, and the lush plants around it immediately withered and yellowed. Lana continued sucking out the poison, doing so roughly ten more times until she had removed all the toxic blood.

The inky black mark on the skin gradually receded though the area around the wound was still swollen.

Lana felt dizzy and quickly circulated her true energy, expelling a wisp of black mist from the top of her head. It cleared her mind instantly.

"Mr. Calcraft," Lana called out to Nash cautiously, but he showed no signs of waking up. Noting how pale and dry his lips looked, she decided to replace some water for him.

There was a large patch of kudzu vines nearby, but they had all turned yellow and had withered from the snake's poison contaminating the soil. Only a small, green glowing sapling seemed unaffected.

There was no time for her to investigate the sapling. She stood up and ventured deeper into the island to replace a water source. After about 20 meters, she came across a small pool of clear water.

Overjoyed, Lana crouched down and scooped up a handful of water to taste. It was sweet and delicious, better than even mineral water. She stood up and cupped a handful of water, but after taking only a few steps, most of the water had already seeped through her fingers.

She looked around but could not

replace any farge leaves to hold the

water. It would take at least net

minutes to return to the shelter for

the water bottle.

After a moment of contemplation, she blushed and looked down at her chest...

On the other side of the island, a young man dressed in a suit

emerged anxiously from the fool net

He looked excited, but there was a cold gleam in his eyes.

"Guess who I saw?"

Martin frowned. "Are there other people on the island?"

Torak Klein also glanced at the young man.

Jaskier Klein nodded. "That's right, and they're familiar faces. I saw Lana and Nash!"

"Nash?" Martin stood up suddenly from the ground, an overwhelming aura of killing intent radiating from him.

"This is great! The heavens are on my side too!" Tears of excitement welled up in Martin's eyes.

His only son, Jay, had died at Nash's hands, yet the family chose to endure the event in silence and bide their time. For a while now,

whenever he closed his eyes, all he

could see was Nash killing his son.

He had lost his appetite, and even his training was almost consumed by madness.

Finally, he had the chance to avenge his son today.

"Nash, oh Nash!" Martin growled through gritted teeth. "You wouldn't have expected the heavens to be helping me either, would you?"
