After his body shrank, the flesh and blood on Yumi's body regenerated quickly. In the blink of an eye, he had transformed into a good-looking man with a magnificent body. Jenny blushed as she gazed at the good-looking Yumi. "Is this what you originally looked like?"

Yumi smiled a forced smile. "This is just the blood and flesh I imagined myself to have. I'll need much larger quantities of food containing spiritual energy to regain actual flesh and blood!"

A determined look appeared in Jenny's eyes. "Let's head over to the central battlefield now. I'm sure we can replace what you need there!"

Yumi nodded. "The Titan Crown is probably there as well. I'll take you there right now!"

As he spoke, he stepped forth to wrap an arm around Jenny's waist. With a shake of his foot, he disappeared into thin air.

Soon, Yumi stopped in his tracks. His sharp blue eyes stared straight ahead intently. Jenny turned her gaze toward where Yumi's gaze was directed.

They watched as a figure holding a head in its arms walked toward them.

Jenny's face turned pale. "T-They're from the Morgan Guild. How did he manage to survive without a head?"

Yumi said calmly, "He's got traces of a god's spirit on him. A remaining spirit must have taken control over his body!"

Jenny's eyes widened. "Just like you?"

The corner of Yumi's lips curved upward slightly. "Yes, you can say that. But he's in a much weaker condition than I am!"

"In that case, are you going to consume him?"

Jenny glanced at Yumi out of the corners of her eyes.

Since this was a spirit that the gods had left behind, it only made sense that it would be extremely beneficial to Yumi's recovery.

"The gods of the West are resurrecting, which means Drakonia's Ancient Immortals will soon begin resurrecting as well. A second war will break out soon. We shouldn't be engaging in infighting!" Yumi said grandly. He did, in fact, wish to consume that god.

However, he was in support of the gods of the West. If he reduced their forces, that would mean a decreased chance of them defeating Drakonia in the future.

Jenny nodded. "Alright. Let's go, then!"

Yumi took Jenny along with him as they left Blacksoil.

The figure holding the head in their arms was none other than Mondo.

The eyes in the head he held within his arms had a dazed look, and there was also an odd-looking mark in the space between his eyebrows.

His body was stiff as his arms continued to hold the head. The body wandered Blacksoil aimlessly.

After taking several more steps, Mondo slowly faded into nothing. When he reappeared once again, he was in a whole other area.

...

The central battlefield was an

enormous mountain range. The space was filled with mountains, lakes, and ancient trees. Wild beasts roared from within the forests as cranes soared high. There was even a winged dragon acting as a sun shield.

Dozens of military tents were set up within the massive forest.

In the largest tent sat Dallas, who was in a meeting with a group of Mystique Loyalty Realm experts.

Other than the Divine Strategy

Squadron, the Lazadars, Thorans,

Varhesses Blancos of Eastjon, and Sloans of Henley City were there as well. The higher-ups of the Divine Strategy Squadron included Dallas, Gerbind, and June.

The Lazadars were represented by Douglas Lazadar, the Thorans by Tobias Thoran, and the Varhesses. by Benedict Varhess. Meanwhile, the Blancos of Eastjon were represented by Julian Tomlin, and the Mystique Loyalty Realm expert that the Sloans of Henley City had sent over was named Jason.

Everyone had solemn expressions on their faces.

Benedict slapped a hand against the table as he blurted out, "If those sect disciples dare step foot on our territory today, I'm going to break their legs!" In his deep voice, Douglas chimed in, "Count me in!"

Tobias picked up his teacup and took a sip of tea. The expression on his face was deceivingly calm as a chilly glint emanated from his eyes.

June pursed her lips. "They've got Profound Oriental Realm experts on their side. Isn't it only normal that they're flaunting that fact?"

Benedict scoffed. "That's because my grandfather hasn't gotten involved yet. Do you think they'd still dare be this arrogant if my grandfather were involved?"

As Drakonia's patron saint, Anton could not leave his position for extended periods because he needed to keep an eye on Abinech.

Jason chuckled dryly. "Those sects aren't even showing the Divine Strategy Squadron any respect."

Julian sighed. "The enemy is fast approaching, and the cultivators of Drakonia should, by right, be backing each other up. Yet, these sects decided to cause trouble at this time. What idiots they are!" They had entered the central battlefield three days ago and were also among the earliest to have arrived at the secret realm's central location.

The central location was filled with countless opportunities.

Some had come across gemstones with ancient spells inscribed upon them. Others had found the roots of thousand-year-old medicinal plants.

One even managed to detect an intense bout of sword intent within a stone cave, and their cultivation level immediately leaped from the late Profound Reality Realm to peak Mystique Loyalty Realm. All that was found on one of the outlying hills.

The hill located in the center was in shambles. Skeletons of the dead were scattered everywhere, and divine light gushed from all corners. Without a doubt, there were extremely valuable treasures within. However, just as they were about to journey deeper into the mountains, the Western cultivators barged in.
