Maggie was the apple of everyone's eye at the Misty Templar Court. The disciples of Misty Templar Court always did everything they could to meet her requests.

Last night, Maggie was unable to sleep because of all the mosquitoes. All she wanted was a tent to shield her from the mosquitoes. Was that really such an unreasonable demand? June stopped in her tracks, a slight smile appearing on her face as she turned to look at Laverne.

Laverne huffed, "Let's get this straight, no using concealed weapons!"

There was no way a Profound Reality Realm expert could not defeat a Mystique Loyalty Realm expert in a one-on-one fight. That woman definitely had tricks up her sleeve if she was acting this confident. Prevention was always better than cure, and it never hurt to be careful.

June said calmly, "Don't worry, I won't use any concealed weapons!"

It was only then that Laverne unsheathed her saber and pointed it at June. "In that case, you can strike!"

June showed a brilliant smile as she took a quick step forward, where she immediately vanished into thin air.

Disappearing without a trace?

Laverne's eyes widened.

She had only seen the leader of the court do something like this before, and that had happened because the court leader moved so quickly it was difficult for the naked eye to discern the leader's movements. Despite that, Laverne's Profound Reality Realm skills meant she could still use her spiritual power to capture the court leader's movements.

Yet, she was unable to use her spiritual power to detect this woman's movements.

What was going on?

Right then, Laverne got slapped across the face.

The power of a practitioner at the Mystique Loyalty Realm did not cause Laverne much harm, but she had still gotten slapped across the face hard.

"How dare you slap me in the face?!" Laverne grabbed her saber and slashed it through the air.

June crossed her arms over her chest and watched as Laverne lost her mind. She had a mocking look in her eyes.

"Come out from wherever you are!" Laverne shouted in fury.

June slapped Laverne again. This time, on the other side of her face.

Laverne immediately raised her

saber and released several gusts of sword energy the moment she got slapped. However, those gusts of sword energy did not land where she

had intended them to.

"You coward. Show yourself if you dare to. Do you think that hiding yourself is a good look on you?" Laverne could not figure out where June was and thus began cursing her out loud. The minute she finished speaking, she felt someone kick her bottom hard.

"Despicable! Shameless!" Laverne seemed to lose control of herself as she slashed her saber through the air.

Meanwhile, June returned to stand before Dallas. She revealed herself and smiled mockingly as she asked, "Is that all?"

Laverne's face had turned an intense shade of red. Her chest heaved as she pointed the tip of her saber at June. "Fight me face-on if you dare to do so!"

June said with disdain, "Do you think I'm an idiot? Why would I fight with a Profound Reality Realm expert when I've only achieved the Mystique Loyalty Realm?" Laverne was so angry that her body began trembling. "Terrible! You're terrible! Just you wait!"

As she spoke, she retrieved a golden rune from her belt. She tossed that golden rune into the air, and it shot upward like a flare.

The golden rune exploded mid-air and revealed the words 'Misty Templar'.

Dallas and the others frowned.

It was obvious she was planning to get the court's elders involved.

Benedict scoffed. "How childish. Getting your elders involved just because you can't defeat us?"

Laverne huffed. "Well, you can summon yours too!"

Ethel tilted her chin upward as she said, "We were being civil to you just now, but you refused to cooperate with us. The rest of the members of the Misty Templar Court won't be as nice as we were!" Narugi

The air vibrated slightly. Several middle-aged women dressed in yellow robes descended from the skies-thrée peak Mystique Loyalty Realm experts and one early-stage Profound Oriental Realm expert.

The woman who had achieved the early stage of the Profound Oriental Realm was Eliana Saal, the leader of the Misty Templar Court.

"Great Elder..."

Tears brimmed in Laverne's eyes as she walked over to Eliana.

"Who hit you?"

A frosty look immediately appeared in Eliana's eyes when she saw the red marks on Laverne's cheeks.

Laverne pointed at June. "She did it!"
