Dante stroked his mustache and shook his head as he said, "That's not very likely. They've headed to the far south after losing the last arena battle, which is nearly a thousand kilometers from where we are. They wouldn't go so far as to travel a thousand kilometers to

attack us in secrecy, let alone attack disciples who have only achieved the Profound Reality Realm!"

All three disciples who had gone missing had achieved the Profound Reality Realm.

If the Western camp wanted to reduce the power they had, they would not only target cultivators who had achieved the Profound Reality Realm.

Merrick frowned. "If they aren't stuck in an array and haven't been harmed by the Western camp, where else could they have gone?"

Dallas said comfortingly, "Everyone, don't panic yet. Let's give it some more time. Who knows? They might have just come across a cave and decided to go into solitude to further their level of mastery." Merrick relaxed slightly. "That would be wonderful if it were true..."

Another three days passed.

The three missing disciples did not return, and another five disciples who had achieved the Profound Reality Realm went missing. Panic settled across everyone in an instant.

"Could they have gotten eaten by a wild beast?"

"That's possible. I heard a wolf howling last night!"

"Are you guys idiots? Those guys have already achieved the Profound Reality Realm. How could they have gotten eaten by wolves?"

"You're the idiot. These aren't ordinary wolves we're talking about! My senior, who has achieved peak Profound Reality Realm, was scratched by a wild leopard last night. How are you going to justify that?" "What's the likelihood that a Western god needs blood from living humans to be resurrected?"

Luca of the Gallagher family suddenly chimed in.

Everyone's faces turned pale upon hearing that.

A Western god that ate humans?

Just thinking about that caused goosebumps to erupt across their bodies.

"Excuse me!"

Just then, one of the soldiers from the Divine Strategy Squadron in uniform jogged over to stand in front of Dallas. He was none other than Pangolin, team lead of the Divine Strategy Squadron's search and rescue team. He was also the Esper who possessed dual superpowers in earth and stone and had fought at Hollow Mountain.

"Any news?"

An excited look appeared on Dallas' face.

His command to Pangolin was to not return until they had located the missing disciples. The fact Pangolin had returned meant they had chanced across some clues.

"I've laid eyes on another group of men, and I suspect that they kidnapped our men!"

"Are they Westerners?"

"No, they're from the East, and we know them well. It's Elistan Greene from the Zen Heart Sect!"

Pangolin had a solemn expression on his face as he spoke.

A gloomy look settled across Merrick's features. "Looks like the Four Great Sects are attempting to seek revenge on us!"

Dante scoffed. "They have a death wish!"

Pangolin added, "Elistan is accompanied by a Westerner who looks like a monster. I witnessed him eating one of our search and rescue team members with my very own eyes!" They were cannibals?

Several of the younger female cultivators immediately grew hysterical.

Dante closed his eyes, a pained look on his face.

If that were the case, his disciples had probably met the same fate.

Merrick gritted his teeth. "Which direction? I'll go destroy them right now!"

Pangolin drew in a long breath before he continued, "I followed those men to where their camps are, and I discovered that not only do they have plenty of Eastern groups on their side, but they've got some Western groups too. They're being léd by Bristol McGee from the Limitless Sword Sect!"

"Bristol?" Dante said as he frowned. "He's only just achieved early stage Profound Oriental Realm. How could he control the Four Great Sects?"

Pangolin added, "Because that

terrifying, human-eating monster

belongs to Bristol. I believe that the

Westerner has powers that are

greater than a Profound Oriental

Realm cultivator!"

Dallas narrowed his eyes. "Bristol was banished from the sect because of Nash. He's probably here to attack Nash!"

Eric added, "Remember what Bristol said before he entered the secret realm? He said he'd kill anyone he sees in the secret realm who's connected to Nash!"

The minute he said that, a calculating glint appeared in the eyes of Geronimo and Minaba.

They were trying to determine if they should stop associating themselves with Nash.

Merrick said, "Bristol's current greatest asset is the Four Great Sects, and we have more than enough power to crush them easily. I suggest that all cultivators who

have reached cultivation levels. greater than the Profound Oriental Realm go ahead and confront them!"

He had only just finished speaking when Nash's cold voice rang out from the ninth floor of the Chaos Tower.

"Leave Bristol McGee to me!"
