"Her money is mine, and mine is hers," Nash casually replied.

Yvonne gave him a thumbs-up. "Looks like you have a high status in the family!"

Nash smirked. "In a harmonious family, status doesn't matter."

Zeke thought Nash was mocking him subtly and flushed slightly. He quickly changed the subject and said, "Liam, you and Leonard go restore the company's operations and suppress the companies under Alexander!" "No need," Nash suddenly interjected. "Alexander's companies should be on the brink of bankruptcy now."

Zeke was taken aback. "What makes you say that?"

"Nash already had someone handle Chad and his family," Yvonne explained.

Zeke chuckled wryly. "There are several listed companies under Alexander that have the Graham family's backing. It's going to be hard for enterprises from Jonford to compete with them."

Just as Zeke said that, Leonard came hurtling down the stairs with uncontainable joy on his face.

"Dad! Dad! The companies under Alexander's family are being investigated. The Graham family has also withdrawn their funding. It's chaos at Alexander's household!" Leonard exclaimed, his face flushing with excitement. Zeke stood up trembling from the couch. "Is this true?"

"Southern Heaven Pharmaceuticals now has more connections compared to the Ten Families of Capiton. Dealing with the Graham family is a piece of cake," Nash replied calmly as if he were discussing something trivial. Zeke took a deep breath. He now realized that the man before him had reached heights beyond his reach. It was likely that Hera had also risen in status.

With this turn of events, there was hope for the Mare family.

"Leonard, acquire all the industries under Alexander's name immediately!" Zeke exclaimed. With Alexander having a knife at his own throat, Zeke had no considerations for their past relationships. It was time for the Mare family to unify.

Leonard nodded and hurried to the company headquarters with Liam.

Zeke collected himself slowly. In a trembling voice, he replied, "It... should be him..."

Nash asked, "Who's Viktor?"

Yvonne pursed her lips and replied, "He's the governor of Capiton."

Zeke looked to Nash for help, his eyes pleading. "Viktor is definitely here to demand answers. Should I... answer this call?"

Although Zeke recognized Nash's

extraordinary capabilities, he did not

believe Nash could handle the governor of Capiton. Businessmen should not contend with

government officials, especially not powerful figures like a provincial governor.

Still calm, Nash replied. "Answer it, of course. What's there to fear? He's just a governor."

Despite Nash's confidence, both James and Zeke could not help but feel a chill run down their spine. Given Nash's demonstrated financial power and boldness, they trusted him not to be all talk.

James picked up the phone and placed it in Zeke's hand. "Dad, we have to trust Nash."
