One did not strike a smiling face. Although Alberic held no particular fondness for the Klein family, even feeling some animosity, seeing Marvin's respectful demeanor softened his attitude toward him a little. He nodded slightly and then said to Chekov, "Let's focus on the important matter."

Nash responded nonchalantly, "I know a few people."

"Who do you know?" Zeke pressed.

"General Landon from the State Capital," Nash revealed. The other people he knew were not as influential, so he did not bother mentioning them.

"General Landon?" Zeke immediately straightened up, his eyes almost popping out of their sockets.

Nash smiled slightly and asked, "Will he be strong enough as backup?"

"Strong enough? He's unbelievably strong!" Zeke exclaimed, his eyes now filled with a newfound respect for Nash.
