Naughty Ceo’s Secret -
Chapter 84
Kenzo's P.O.V.

"What the fu.ck do you mean she said she quit?" I practically shouted over the phone.
"W-well, she just kept shouting that she is quitting, and will not come with me sir." Ben replied awkwardly.
I clenched my jaw in frustration.
"Come back here right now." I ordered, and hung up the phone.
I've been working my a.ss off all weekend trying to replace dirt on Haru. I've been meeting with his old investors, digging up tabloids from when he first opened the company, anything I can. I've also been meeting with the members of the board to try to win them over. So far, it seems Haru and I are at a match.
Not only have I been doing all of that, but I've been meeting up with Jack. It wasn't hard at all for Jack to dig up any and all the information regarding Brad Montray. I know where he went to school all his life, where he was born, his mother's maiden name, his fu.cking blood type, all of it.
On top of all the basic information, Jack was able to dig up much more. More than I think even Opal knows. Like the rape charges Brad had in high school. The ones that his father made disappear. Or all of the times that he was arrested while in college. Fu.cker was arrested for all kinds of things. Attempted rape, assault, drunken misconduct. All things that make me wonder how he was able to work for such a powerful firm. His father must have made everything disappear for him.
Unfortunately for the Montray family, I am more powerful. I was going to go to the firm that fu.cker works at today after Opal got here. I was going to talk with his boss, and lightly suggest he fire Brad. Then I was going to make sure that he never found another job as a lawyer anywhere. That dipshit will be lucky to get a job at McDonald's when I'm done with him.
That has all changed since Opal is refusing to fu.cking come to work. What is going on with her? Did that fu.cker go see her? Is he with her right now making her say all of that? The guy, Devin that I have watching her told me only Kendra has been there today. I tried to call Opal several times, but she wouldn't pick up. She won't answer my texts. I even asked Beck and Peter to call her. She wouldn't answer anyone.
"What do you think is going on with her?" Beck asked.
"I don't know." I gritted out.
"You think her ex ended up showing up there?" He asked.
"Devin told me there was no sign of him there. I told him to keep an eye out. All he said was that Kendra had been there all weekend, and that Marc showed up on Saturday." I told him.
I pulled my phone out again, and typed out a message to Opal.
Me: I'm going to call you until you answer me, so you might as well do it. If not, I'll go there my damn self Opal. Answer your phone. Now.
I waited just a few minutes before calling. Thankfully, this time she picked up. She didn't say anything, but I could hear her on the other line.
"Opal." I gritted out.
"What?" Opal bit back, but there was something wrong.
Why does her voice sound shaky like that? Is she crying?
"Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying? What is going on? Did your ex show up? Is he there?" I asked.
I'll kill that fu.cker.
"You should have been an actor instead of a CEO. Since you're so good at fooling people." Opal said. What?
"What are you talking about?" I asked, confused.
Opal scoffed through the line. I can hear her sniffling. I wish she would just tell me what's wrong.
"You don't have to play dumb with me anymore, Kenzo. I saw the article this morning. I know about your engagement." She said.
My engagement? Article? What the fu.ck is she talking about-
Haru. I knew that Natasha and those reports showing up was his doing. He fu.cking set me up.
I muted the phone as I looked at Beck.
"Call that women's clothing store that I took Akane to. Tell them I'm picking up my order early. Have Ben take you to get it, and go get Opal." I ordered.
"And if she doesn't want to come?" Beck asked.
I clenched my jaw.
"If you don't come back with her, don't fu.cking come back at all." I warned.
Beck gave me a single nod before leaving my office. I unmuted the call, and brought the phone back to my ear.
"What article?" I asked.
I'm barely holding my anger back.
"The one that shows you with a model on your arm, and an engagement ring on her finger." She seethed.
"Opal, this is all a big misunderst-" I tried, but Opal wasn't hearing any of it.
"I don't care. I don't care about you, or what you do. I don't care about how many girlfriends or fiances you have. I don't care about my job, or anything to do with Suzuki Industries. And I certainly do not care about you, Kenzo Suzuki!" Then she hung up.
I tossed my phone on my desk. My breathing is starting to become erratic. I picked up my chair, and threw it across the room.
Haru. This is all his fault. He's taken everything from me my entire life. I've always just been his puppet. Not anymore. That old prick isn't going to take Opal from me.
I grabbed my phone off of my desk, and pulled up my contacts. When I found the one I was looking for, I brought the phone to my ear.
"Well, hello there grandson." Haru answered.
"Grandfather, I would like you to come to my office immediately. I'd like to introduce you to someone." I said.
Haru chuckled.
"Decided to take me up on the offer to marry Natasha after that night?" He asked.
"Come replace out for yourself." I said, and then hung up.
Oh, I've taken a fiance, alright.
**********
Beck just sent me a text telling me that they are on their way up. He told me that he had to drag Opal from her apartment. And that Opal is beyond furious.
Unfortunately, I don't think I will have much time to explain things to her. Haru is due to be here any minute. I just hope that Opal isn't angry enough to not play along.
"Let me go Beck. I don't want to see his stupid face!"
I can hear Opal from down the hall. I stood up, and walked around my desk. I smoothed out my suit jacket, and waited.
A moment later, Opal came into view. Beck has his hand wrapped around her wrist, and is literally dragging her to me. Opal looks furious, but so damn beautiful.
I had planned to give her that outfit as part of my apology for this whole past week. She looks stunning in it, just like I knew she would. That color green not only makes her eyes look bluer, but it really brightens her strawberry blonde hair. The dress falls to right above her knees, and has a plunging neckline.
I know exactly what she has on under it too. I can't wait to see that shade of red on her porcelain skin. Now is not the time for that though.
I met Beck at my office door. He practically tossed Opal at me. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her tight to me.
"Haru is due to be here any minute. Wait for him. Stall. Be loud when he gets close." I said.
"You got it." Beck said.
I pulled Opal into my office, and shut my door behind her. She struggled in my arms. I grabbed her wrists, and pinned them above her head. The action made her breasts push up. From this angle I can see the bright red bra she has on. "Let me go! I don't want to be here!" She shouted.
"Shhh, Opal. People are going to get the wrong idea." I told her.
"The wrong idea! They-"
"Just let me explain kitten." I interrupted her.
"No." Opal said as she started shaking her head. "I don't want to hear what you have to say!" She told me.
I pressed my body into hers, pushing her into the door.
"Listen to me kitten. I am your Dom. You will stop this right now." I ordered.
Opal immediately stopped struggling and yelling. She looked up at me with nothing but anger. I can tell that she's upset with herself for listening to me.
I moved her wrists behind my head. Opal tried to pull away, but I held her there. Once she stopped fighting me, I moved my hands to cup her face.
Before Opal could say anything else, I pressed my lips to hers. Opal didn't kiss me back though. It hurt more than I was expecting it to.
I pulled away and sighed.
"Opal, I'm not engaged to Natasha. It was all a misunderstanding baby." I told her.
"And I'm just supposed to believe that?" Opal asked with a scoff.
"Are you telling me that I haven't been showing you enough how I feel about you?" I asked her.
"I told you you were a good actor." She said.
I can see the tears fill her beautiful blue eyes. I know she was crying on the phone. Opal's eyes are puffy and red. I want to take all of her doubts and sadness away.
I pressed my lips to her right eye, then her left. Then I kissed her nose, her cheeks, her chin. Opal pushed on my chest the whole time.
"Kenzo stop." She grumbled.
"No." I said as I repeated the process. "I'm so sorry Opal. I'm so sorry I've been pushing you away all week. I'm so sorry I didn't see you all weekend. I'm so sorry about the article you read. None of it was true. You are the only girl I'm with right now, Opal. That I've ever been this serious with." I told her honestly.
Opal finally let her hands fall to her sides.
"You go to the Pet Store." She stated.
"Only three times a week, and I never actually do anything with those women." I said.
"I don't believe you." She said.
"Then you can come with me next time, and I can show you." I said.
"Kenzo-"
"Mr. Suzuki sir! Long time no see! How ya been?" Beck practically shouted.
"Get out of my way boy. I'm here to see my grandson." I heard Haru reply.
I pulled Opal off of the door, and opened it. Then I grabbed her hand, and pulled her back to my desk. I wiped Opal's face, and kissed her lips.
"Baby, things are about to get a lot more confusing for you, but I promise I'm going to tell you everything. Just please.. play along." I said. "Play along with what?" She asked.
"Well, you sure changed everything about this place, didn't you, Kenzo?"
I turned around as Haru entered my office. Opal peeked around me, and Haru's eyes fell on her. He narrowed his eyes at Opal, and I smirked.
I pulled Opal around to my side, and tucked her under my arm. I kissed the top of her head. Then I looked back up at my grandfather with a broad smile. "Opal, I would like you to meet Haru Suzuki, my grandfather. Haru, I would like you to meet Opal. My finace."
