Chapter 1042 Put It Behind You

She couldn't say a word, mainly because she was heartbroken.

Norman couldn't help but sigh. "You must take care of yourself too…"

Rose nodded and wiped the tears from her eyes. "I will. Linda… You have to take care of her. Don't let her

temper…"

She couldn't quite continue.

Norman nodded immediately. "I will… I will."

Linda grabbed Rose's hands, and Linda's voice trembled. "Mom…"

That was all she could say. She couldn't repress her choked-up voice.

"Good girl… I'm still here. You don't have to worry. Everything will be alright, okay?"

Linda could only nod, but her tears fell uncontrollably.

Rose couldn't say much and sighed.

The staff members walked over and said impatiently, "It's time to go."

Rose took a tiny breath and nodded at the staff. At the same time, she couldn't help but look at Norman and Linda.

"You… have to take care of yourself. Don't worry about me. I'm fine."

What should have been said was said, and what shouldn't be said couldn't be displayed. Norman and Rose

understood each other.

Norman sighed helplessly and nodded. His expression was complicated, and he couldn't say anything.

Linda could only cry and look on helplessly as she watched her mother turn and leave.

Rachel and the others looked in their direction, and she sneered. "Is Linda unwilling to part with her mom? It's just

three years! I'm so freaking angry!"

Sheena scoffed coldly. "They think three years is too long. Look at the way she's crying."

"D*mn it, I'm furious!"

Elisa turned and saw Sheena's dark face. Elisa couldn't help but laugh lightly. "I'm not even angry. Why are you

getting worked up?"

Rachel immediately looked at Elisa and couldn't hold back, but she restrained herself and didn't say a word. Her

eyes were filled with questions, and she was clearly curious. When will you make a move?! When? When can you

wipe them out?!

Elisa laughed softly and didn't say anything. She said freely, "Soon."

Rachel's eyes lit up. "Finally!"

Sheena's lips twitched. She raised her head to tap Rachel's temples. "You! It's already perfect, but you're so fidgety

about it."

"Ah! How can I not get anxious?!" Rachel raised her hands and seemed to rub her temples in pain.

Charli laughed. "Let's go."

The rest didn't say anything else and walked out.

But…

They were at the entrance when they suddenly heard a voice behind them.

"Hold on, Elisa."

Rachel immediately turned around and looked at the person, displeased. At the same time, she pushed Elisa behind

her and said vigilantly, "What are you doing? Do you want to kill Liz?"

"Don't spout rubbish!" Linda was livid and not in the mood to talk nonsense with Rachel. Instead, her gaze fell on

Elisa. Linda gritted her teeth and said, "Are you satisfied now that it has come to this?!"

The corners of Elisa's mouth curved slowly. "Aunt Rose just told you to restrain your temper. Have you put it behind

you after coming out?"

"You…!" Linda gritted her teeth. Her expression was complicated when she thought of how her mother had spoken

to her tearfully.
