Chapter 1090 Keep Us from Chatting!

Jeremy packed up his medical tools before he walked to sit beside Gareth. It was evident he didn't intend to leave.

The three of them weren't working but with Julia so early in the morning. She looked at them, puzzled. "Don't… you

need to work? Why are all of you here?"

It was mainly because the time wasn't quite right.

Elisa couldn't help but laugh gently. "Grandma, have you forgotten that it's the weekend?"

"Ah? Weekend?" Julia was slightly startled. She raised her hand to look at her cell phone. "Oh, that's right. The

weekend. Look at me."

She was happy after that. "So, you're all here to keep me company?"

Elisa smiled. "Yes. Would you like that, Grandma?"

"Of course!" Julia was instantly delighted. She almost slapped her hand on her leg before she held Elisa's hand

tightly. She looked at the other two with suspicion.

"Are you two… very free as well?"

These two brats. They usually have no interest in staying.

Gareth said calmly, "I don't have much to do. But it's mainly because I lost a bet."

"What bet was it?" Old Madam Wickam was skeptical.

Jeremy sat on the couch quietly with a smile, but he looked at Gareth out of the corner of his eye as if wanting to

hear what excuse Gareth came up with.

Elisa was also silently looking at the man sitting across from her.

Edgar's lips twitched, and he looked at Julia while saying disinterestedly, "A normal bet. I lost, so I'm here to keep

you company for a day."

Elisa and Jeremy were dumbfounded.

Julia's face suddenly darkened. "What does that brat Vincent mean by that? And you, what do you mean by that?

Huh? You rascal, has it become torture to come and visit me?!"

She deliberately kept a straight face when she said the last few words.

It was reasonable for young people to work on their careers, so they naturally felt bored and uninterested in staying

with Old Madam Wickam.

But she was childlike and said what was on her mind.

Elisa couldn't help but laugh. She said nothing.

Gareth raised his brows. "How would I dare to do that?"

"I don't think you would!"

Julia didn't say anything else, but she couldn't help but snort.

"You're treating this like a prison. What a good grandson!"

Elisa couldn't help but laugh lightly. She knew Grandma wasn't angry but said, "Since that's the case, you can bet

with him, Grandma. If he loses, let him stay here and continue to keep you company."

When Julia heard it, she immediately had a disdainful expression. "No! I replace him bothersome if he's here. He'll keep

us from chatting!"

"I never imagined that the rascal Vincent would bet on an old woman like me!" Julia said unwillingly.

"Haha…" Jeremy couldn't help but laugh aloud.

Gareth's expression seemed to be darker than before.

They teased each other frequently, so everyone was used to it.

Not long after, the doorbell suddenly rang. A servant went to open the door and immediately stepped aside upon

seeing that it was Vincent. "Mr. Shane is here."

Elisa's expression froze slightly. He's here. Then the bet that Gareth casually mentioned…

But Elisa thought about it and breathed a sigh of relief. It doesn't matter because it was a joke.

Vincent changed his shoes briskly and walked over. When he saw Old Madam Wickam on the couch, he greeted

Julia with a smile. "Hello, Grandma."
