No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) -
Chapter 1153
Chapter 1153 Can’t Be Distracted
"What do you mean by that?" Rose didn't know if Elisa was being truthful or sarcastic. Rose felt tense and didn't
dare to look away. She kept staring at Elisa's face, afraid to miss any emotion.
Elisa smiled. "What do you think?"
She only said as such and wasn't in a rush to continue.
Since they had been heartless to her, it was only natural for her to be unkind to them. She couldn't take it if she had
to be compassionate and guide them back to the right path.
Rose's temples suddenly twitched. Her initially bad mood turned worse.
"Liz, you… Why did you suddenly become like this today? Why are you keeping me in suspense… Did something
happen outside?"
Elisa fixed her hair and seemed to say absentmindedly, "Something has happened, but you don't know about it. It's
something Uncle Norman has kept from you half his life."
Rose was flabbergasted.
It seemed like… what Elisa was talking about differed from what she thought.
She's still keeping me in suspense now. Doesn't she know that visiting hours are limited? Rose wanted to curse Elisa
and Elisa's family but had no other way.
She could only look at Elisa and ask tentatively, "What on earth happened, Liz? Don't keep me hanging, alright?"
The past few days had been a tough time for her in prison.
But she could only keep count as days passed. It was already torture now. Three years… She didn't know how to
endure three years.
Elisa smiled and was still unhurried. Instead, she spoke steadily. "Aunt Rose, you've been with Uncle Norman for
many years. From the outside, you look like a model couple. I wonder if you're really so loving at home. Does Uncle
Norman only have eyes for you at home?"
Rose's expression froze. The next moment, she understood what Elisa was saying, and the panic in her heart
calmed. It turned out that Elisa wanted to drive a wedge between them. Does she think this will work?
Even if Elisa sowed discord between the husband and wife, Rose wouldn't say anything in front of Elisa. She would
never squander what they had done previously nor tell Elisa anything unfavorable.
So Elisa just came to stress me out? She's good!
At the next moment, Rose smiled and said, "Liz, you've seen my relationship with your Uncle Norman for so many
years. Everything is going well regardless if we're outside or at home. After so many years, I'm still pleased with
your Uncle Norman."
Elisa didn't pay the slightest attention to what Rose said. She played absentmindedly with her fair and slender
fingers and didn't look at Rose. She casually said, "Has Uncle Norman come to visit you?"
Rose's expression froze.
Under normal circumstances, he could have come to see her if he had wanted to, but… he hadn't come at all.
Only Linda had visited her two days ago.
Rose instantly felt that something wasn't quite right…
Upon seeing Rose pondering and seemingly comforting herself, Elisa's lips twitched, and she continued
manipulating Rose. "Aunt Rose, wake up. He doesn't have the time right now to visit you."
Rose immediately retorted, "Yes, he's busy. He has his career and job, so he naturally can't be distracted."
