Chapter 1320 What's Your Motive?

"Haha! I could finally feel the joy of victory at KKCD casino by rubbing off the luck of the God and Goddess of Luck!"

Suddenly, someone in the crowd was cheering out of joy.

The voice interrupted Elisa's train of thought. A plump man in the crowd was cheering while holding his chips up.

Within a few seconds, the people around him were calling for him to stop.

"You must be crazy. Their good luck will also bring them bad luck. We're indeed winning now, but you have to

control yourself! Do you think they can leave KKCD with the money they've won?"

These words hit him like a splash of cold water in his face. He gained his senses right away.

Elisa wasn't far away from them. Despite their efforts to lower their voices, Elisa could hear every sentence.

The crowd started to disperse.

After a while, Gareth, Elisa, Thomas, and the casino's staff were the only ones surrounding their table.

Even though Henry was kicked by Gareth and was ordered by Joseph to apologize to Elisa, he didn't try to conceal

his aggravation towards Elisa. His blazing eyes indicated, 'You're dead meat now.'

Elisa smirked scornfully at his expression without feeling scared at all.

"I guess there's nothing special about KKCD casino." Elisa let out a mocking remark.

"Don't insult our casino with your nonsense. Two of you have been winning ever since you appeared in our casino. I

believe you have another motive. Tell us."

Mr. North threw away the cigar in his hands and folded his arms on the gambling table. He instigated them without

beating around the bush.

What do you mean by Moranta's largest casino?

From Elisa's perspective, this was Moranta's most f*cked up casino.

Anyone who came with a fortune would have to leave without anything. Even if they won, the money would

deceitfully return to the people in the casino. Not only did they have such pathetic tricks up their sleeves, but they

were also thieves!

Elisa was disgusted by their shameless acts.

"Take me to your boss, and I'll not take a single cent from here." Gareth looked into the eyes of Mr. North and

shared his intention indifferently.

Mr. North noticed that Gareth's eyes were expressionless and cold.

It was indeed true that they had another motive. They had already done their research on everyone in the casino.

Before Mr. North could reply, he heard a husky and dull voice from his earphones. "Bring them up."

"Yes, boss."

Mr. North respectfully replied and hinted to his subordinates.

His actions immediately verified Gareth’s suspicions earlier!

Soon after, Gareth and Elisa were led through a long corridor to the elevator, where they went to the thirty-ninth

floor. It was the highest floor of the building.

The decorations were extravagant, and there was an outdoor swimming pool. The building beside the swimming

pool looked like a grand palace.

They followed them and noticed a man in his forties, wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and slippers, sitting on a

leather sofa.

A German Shepherd covered in black fur was in front of the man, and a plate of fresh red meat was placed before

the dog.

The man caressed the dog's head before lifting his head. "You're not here just to meet me after winning such a big

amount of money. Are you? Tell me, what's your motive?"

Elisa noticed the man had several strands of white hair and a few wrinkles on his forehead, but it couldn't conceal

his distinctive and outstanding aura.

The man quickly noticed her staring at him and took a glance at her. Elisa's face stiffened as she swiftly looked

away from him.
