No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) -
Chapter 1615
Chapter 1615 No Intention of Robbing Somebody of Someone They Cherish
Although she disagreed with the development of Elisa and Will's relationship, she couldn't deny that
she was pleased with how Elisa answered Jocelyn.
Elisa's eyes were filled with contempt for Jocelyn. She berated Jocelyn.
"What? I'm speaking to Mrs. Darcey, but you're making noise here. Please leave, Ms. Oxley."
Elisa's words made her intentions clear.
Marsha didn't say anything, but she silently approved.
Jocelyn wouldn't obey Elisa, but she wouldn't disobey Marsha.
After she left, Elisa continued the conversation from where Jocelyn had left off.
"Gareth and I didn't conspire at all, and I'm only business partners with Will. I don't like him
romantically."
"You don't, but it doesn't mean Will doesn't like you." Marsha was direct.
She had more life experience and saw things clearly.
Elisa immediately fell silent.
Since Mrs. Darcey understands, what does she mean by that?
Elisa didn't understand.
Marsha saw the confusion in Elisa's eyes. She said at once, "If someone nice appears in front of you and keeps
treating you well, will you accept or reject him?"
She asked Elisa.
Elisa was quiet and immediately understood what Marsha meant.
No one could turn away someone who treated them well, let alone between men and women.
Everyone wanted someone to treat them well and prioritize them.
However, she and Will were working together.
At that moment, Will was injured because of her. If she obeyed Marsha and broke off all contact, what would that
make her?
Elisa turned her down decisively. "Mrs. Darcey, I can't do as you wish."
But her decisiveness was useless. Marsha was still resolute.
"If you can't do it, it means you still care about Will. There is still a longing within you. I advise you to eliminate such
thoughts as soon as possible so you won't feel upset when you have to part in the future."
Elisa immediately denied it. "No, I can't do as you wish because I can't cut off contact with the person who saved
me. Nothing is going on besides the business partnership between Will and I. You don't have to worry. If you don't
believe me, you can…"
But before Elisa could finish speaking, Marsha sneered coldly. "Aren't you afraid that you'll be proven wrong in the
future?"
Elisa was flabbergasted.
She knew she couldn't say too much.
But wasn't her current attitude evident enough?
Elisa pursed her lips. For a moment, she didn't know what to say.
The next moment, Marsha said, "Don't talk to me about the future. I only care about the present."
Elisa understood. Marsha wanted her to clarify her boundaries with Will now, not in the future.
Marsha didn't want them to continue their business partnership.
The Western suburbs project was the latest to be planned and hadn't unfolded in detail. Elisa could
let it go.
But if the previously discussed projects ended, how would Will explain it to those at Darcey Group?
As for Benett Corporation…
This was her first public project after she came into office. She couldn't let it go.
As for Will, she still had to wait until he recovered.
Elisa shook her head. "I can't do something as inhumane as setting boundaries now. Mrs. Darcey, Will
already has a fiancée. I won't go so far as to be improper."
She had no intention of robbing somebody of someone they cherished.
