After a moment of hesitation, an officer spoke up softly. “Ms. Benett, what are you doing here? And this situation…”

He trailed off, staring at Elisa’s feet.

Tom wailed, “Officer! This woman attacked us! You must handle this situation fairly!”

The officer studied the scars on his face and the green hair on his head. He looked around at the other men,

crawling up from the ground. All of them looked like thugs. His expression turned into confusion.

Elisa paid no attention to the situation and turned to the officer. “Was there a police report? Or were you just

patrolling in this area?”

“Someone made a police report.”

Elisa smiled. “I have a voice recording of the situation.”

The thugs were dumbfounded!

On the other hand, the officers weren’t surprised. Elisa was a lawyer. It was unsurprising to see Elisa using self-

defense laws in her favor.

She pulled out a voice recorder.

One of the officers was worried. “Let’s go back to the station to talk things through.”

He gave her a look. There were too many of them here. It would be challenging to bring all of them along, and

some might try to escape.

Elisa didn’t say much and nodded cooperatively. “Sure.”

Naturally, she would fully cooperate with the police.

Standing behind them, Officer Jennings said, “I think there’s no need to. Look, they’re all on the ground. I doubt any

of them have the strength left to fight.”

Officer Larson was silent.

But he recalled that when they arrived, all of them were on the ground.

Elisa was the only one standing, stepping on the leader’s hand.

He coughed lightly and said softly, “We still need to bring them in for the records.”

“Not a problem for me.” Elisa was composed.

She noticed some of them trying to escape and shot them a look. “Are you not scared of getting hurt?”

The man had taken a step forward but froze in place with her words. Another one took off. Elisa scoffed and picked

up an object from the ground. She hurled it, and the man fell to the ground, howling!

Some of them hadn’t given up and tried to run. Elisa said in a cold voice. “You won’t mind if I break your legs if you

try to run, right?”

She stepped toward them in her heels.

The officers were speechless.

Were they mistaken? It felt like they were there to help Elisa solve a case.

The thugs were flabbergasted.

How can she run with such ease when wearing high heels?

No! They were the ones who were unable to run despite wearing regular shoes. In fact, the entire group of men

was defeated by a woman, not to mention that she was wearing stilettos the whole time!

It was an insult to them!

No, it was more that she was invincible!

A man tried to make a run for it. Elisa showed no mercy and dislocated his arm right in front of the officers.

“ARGGGHHH!”

The ear-piercing scream was like a slaughtered animal’s cry.

Elisa proceeded to pop the arm back into its joint.

With another wave of pain, the man seemed to have wet his pants.

No one else dared try to escape.

The officers looked on in a daze.

When Elisa’s eyes landed on them, she said apologetically, “Excuse me. I was worried that these criminals would

run away.”
