No Chance of Remarriage Get Lost (Elisa) -
Chapter 830
Chapter 830
The next moment!
The air in the room became staler!
Even Vincent and Rachel, standing outside the door, could feel the chill.
Although it was a bright and fine day, this man had made it a little eerie.
The two exchanged glances without saying a word.
The look in Gareth's eyes had become vicious, but Elisa was not afraid of him. She still glanced at him lightly.
Gareth nodded with a smile. "Great. Very great."
"What do you mean great? Let go of me!"
Elisa exerted some force as she spoke. Gareth did not expect that, so Elisa managed to free herself.
She quickly walked towards the door and opened it. Vincent and Rachel walked in together.
Vincent smiled at Gareth and said, "That was fast."
They just had their breakfast. Gareth most probably hadn't had his.
Vincent glanced at Gareth and smiled, "You haven't had any food since you started looking for Elisa this morning,
have you? Would you like to eat something first?"
He glanced at Elisa as she was speaking. "Can I use your kitchen?"
Gareth frowned, looking upset. But Vincent looked calm and relaxed. Vincent spoke up for Gareth so that Elisa
would feel guilty toward him because Gareth would never say anything about it.
Rachel was surprised. It was already noon. Gareth would faint out of hunger if he did not eat...
At this moment, she stopped talking and glanced at Elisa. She felt unfair for Elisa. This rascal had mistreated Elisa in
the past. Why should Elisa let him stay?
But... When she was in the city just now, she felt...
Elisa frowned. "All of you should eat out. I need some rest."
"Your bedroom is upstairs. Rest as you wish. We will not make too much noise downstairs and in the kitchen. Don't
worry. I can cook. I will not burn down your kitchen."
Elisa pursed her lips and headed upstairs silently.
Rachel gave them a puzzled look, then followed Elisa to her bedroom.
"Elisa, how long did you sleep just now? Did you have a good rest? Why don't you rest a little while more?" Rachel
glanced at Elisa worriedly. Elisa replied calmly, "I've had enough sleep."
Rachel's eyes flickered as she considered telling Elisa what had happened that morning. In the end, she decided to
tell Elisa everything.
"Gareth came and pounded on my door this morning when I was still asleep. He seemed concerned about your
whereabouts. He told me you were missing and asked if I knew anything about you. I was also worried when I heard
the news then, so when I saw your text, I told him immediately without a second thought. He snatched my phone
away from me. At that moment, I thought that he wasn't a chivalrous man. But after some thought about the
incident, I reckoned that perhaps because of you, he was so nervous..." "Elisa, I feel his concern for you is real. He
does not have to act or do anything to please anyone, except if it's for Old Madam Wickam."
