Chapter 960 None of Them Noticed a Flaw

"I threatened them."

"Huh? How?" Rachel was even more confused.

Eliza answered with a smile, "He once extorted my shares. I was willing to give them to him, but there are flaws in

the contract."

"What?! That's awesome! So he has to return the shares back to you!" Rachel was thrilled.

"Mm-hmm."

"D*mn! This evil family is finally facing a setback. Since the contract is invalid, you can demand the earnings from

the past years from them!"

Elisa laughed. "Don't worry about me. I'll settle the rest. At this moment, they can't bother to come after me."

"I just can't help worrying, but I trust your ability. No matter what, we can't let those bad guys have their ways!"

Elisa's heart was warmed. "Of course."

The two continued talking for a while before they ended the call. Sheena and Carle also texted Elisa in the group

chat to congratulate her and ask about her situation. Elisa did not reveal the complete situation but told them the

same as she had told Rachel because she did not want them to worry.

Soon, it came to the third day.

Norman and his family were sitting in the living room, looking sullen.

Linda broke the silence. "Why is no one saying anything? What's the plan?"

She glanced at Norman before averting her gaze to Rose. "Say something, Mom."

Rose frowned and looked at Norman. "None of the lawyers noticed any flaws?"

Norman nodded with a darkened face. "Yeah. I engaged a dozen lawyers, but all their feedback is that the contract

is flawless."

Linda was surprised. "Not even one of them noticed something?"

"Yes."

Linda sniggered. "I knew it! Elisa is attempting to intimidate and deceive us with her identity as Iris. It seems like this

contract has no loopholes at all!"

Looking cold, Rose uttered, "Since that is the case, we don't have to be bothered by her. Let her make a fuss as she

pleases."

Norman said solemnly, "I don't care if she's making a fuss, but I'm more concerned that we'll lose face if this matter

cannot be solved perfectly."

Linda snorted. "It's Elisa who wants to turn against us. That's out of our control. Let her make a big fuss if she

wants. Ultimately, she will be the one losing face, not us."

Norman furrowed his brows and said, "I'm worried that if this matter is brought to court, others might think that

we're occupying the shares and refuse to give them to Elisa."

Linda sneered, "All the lawyers agreed there's no error in the agreement except Elisa and Vincent. Both of them

are in the same boat – they're clearly intimidating us. Since she can't defeat us with this agreement, she can do

nothing, even if she brings the matter to court. All she can do is continue threatening us."

Rose nodded. "Linda's right. Although others might think we're unjust if this scandal blows up, Elisa will gain no

advantage. Once the judge returns a verdict that is favorable to us, she'll be left with no chance. We shouldn't give

in – she has made an unwise choice."
