Chapter 963 Bold

Nicole pursed her lips and remained silent, allowing the woman to continue.

The manager pushed up her glasses and spoke, "We've hit a bottleneck in the company's designs, but it's not due to

a lack of skills on our designers' part. Rather, it's because people's tastes are becoming increasingly demanding. It's

difficult to satisfy everyone's tastes."

Nicole furrowed her brows. She looked at the manager and said, "It's true that it's difficult to satisfy everyone's

preferences, but ultimately, it's up to you to master the necessary technical skills."

The manager shook her head and countered, "No, Ms. Tabor, I wasn't trying to dismiss it as a technical issue. I was

just trying to state it objectively. In terms of color coordination and distribution, our designs are impeccable.

Everyone is working diligently." She added, " But if we collaborate with a renowned designer, even if it's just for

exposure, we could have a breakthrough."

Nicole's expression darkened. She became silent.

The manager gave a quick nod to one of the staff. Her subordinate quickly stood up and projected their design on

the screen.

A model was featured with custom-made attire and jewelry. The fashion was high-end, elegant, and not overly

flashy.

When Nicole saw the design, her mood recovered. She thought to herself, this is acceptable.

Nicole remained silent.

The manager glanced at Nicole and said, "If we promote this design, it will be too similar to the issue from last year.

We're not pushing the boundaries in the design field if we opt for the safe route. This strategy does not look good in

my books."

The manager's objective was to see her department outperform the competition. She was always able to come up

with original solutions that pleased Nicole. Her ideas voiced out were often bold.

The staff members of the design department were terrified to object.

The higher-ups had the final say. Subordinates could only obey.

Nicole didn't say anything. She looked at the manager calmly and said, "Please continue."

The manager nodded and elaborated further on other conceptual designs.

Everyone knew the manager was assertive, so no one dared to speak out.

The staff had no say over the existing presentation.

The manager looked at Nicole with a solemn expression. She expressed, "So, Ms. Tabor, I hope we can have Rene

on board this project. Even if her designs are not implemented, her name is enough to promote the designs. We

need to replace her."

The manager startled everyone with her final comments, rendering everyone speechless.

Nicole's eyebrows furrowed. All eyes were on the manager.

"I understand that working with Rene is necessary. However, as you know, we don't even know who Rene is. We

can't get in touch with her, unfortunately. How can we collaborate?"

The manager took a deep breath. "I know... we have to try everything. Ms. Tabor, how about you let me go? I'll replace

a way to convince her with sincerity," she implored.

Nicole observed the manager. Although responsible and bold in her ideas, she was not patient. If she let the

manager go, she was worried that she might say something that would upset Rene.
