Chapter 993 A Chill Vincent Shane

Linda got up and followed Elisa with distress in her eyes. She stopped and grabbed hold of Elisa's arm when she saw

her hand on the doorknob. "Elisa, where are you going? The toilet? You don't need this many people to go with you.

I'll go with you!"

Elisa flung her hand away and pulled the door open without a second thought.

"Elisa!! You can't leave! We're not done yet! We've given you the recording and kept our promise; you should repay

us!" Elisa begged with wide and jittery eyes. Though in her mind, she was cursing Elisa out.

How can you do this to us? You're making me crazy!

Yet, Elisa kept ignoring her. Norman and Rose caught up to them and saw Linda latched onto Elisa's arm. Linda was

blabbering like she didn't care if anyone heard her; she wasn't saying anything important anyway.

Rachel could not watch the scene any longer. She went up to Linda and forcefully pulled her away. "Are you crazy?

Have you got no dignity? Can't you see that Liz is done talking to you? She wouldn't have even wanted to see you if

you had not used such dirty tricks to coerce her into coming. You won't even offer a sincere apology when you

know full well what you all did. Stop pretending! Do you think people can't see through your pretense?"

Charli snorted in disbelief, "Yeah. There's no point continuing. Since we've decided to go by the law, we won't let

you off easily. You have better prepare yourselves."

"You…! You're all…!" B*tches. This group of b*tches. Why can't Elisa just drop dead?!

Linda couldn't finish her curses because Elisa had walked away.

Vincent finished his food without hurrying and wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin. It might not be the best

time to eat, but he couldn't let the food go to waste. He smiled at the family of three, who all wore similar

crestfallen expressions, and said, "Thank you for the invite, Mr. Benett. I'll treat next time."

Norman was enraged. His eyes twitched, and the vein on his forehead pounded.

Rose forced a smile and said, "Vincent's just joking."

Linda chewed on her lip with both hands clenched. She looked at Vincent but couldn't say a word. Vincent used to

smile at her when she and Gareth were still a thing, but now… he didn't even glance at her. She felt like she had

fallen from heaven to hell. She couldn't bear the crushing feeling within her.

"We'll talk about it next time," Vincent said while strolling to his car.

Only Norman, Rose, and Linda were left in the room in a matter of seconds. They were disheartened to continue

their meal, so they left. Norman thought they could meet the rest of them in the parking lot but… he was wrong. He

got into the driver's seat with a pale face while Rose and Linda got into the back.
