The following day, Lenora, along with her female colleagues, explored the resort, taking in the sights and capturing a few photos as memories.
At half past twelve in the afternoon, all the staff gathered together to enjoy a barbecue on the second floor of the cafeteria where they had reserved three tables. The females occupied one table, while the males took up two.
The females had opened a few bottles of juice, while the male colleagues had cracked open two cases of
beer.
Everyone was laughing and joking around, some even gaining liquid courage and starting to tease Zachary boldly.
Zachary gave a light, nonchalant smile, showing no signs of annoyance. This made the employees even more cheerful.
After lunch, someone suggested playing a game.
The employees were having a blast, so they enthusiastically agreed.
"Sure, let's play. What do you suggest we play?"
"Let's keep it simple. Spin the bottle," one person suggested, placing an empty beer bottle horizontally on the table. "Whoever the bottle points at must choose truth or dare." "Sure thing," many of the employees responded in unison.
With Zachary present, no one dared to decline participation. Even if they truly didn't want to join, they had to grit their teeth and go along with it.
Carlos Clarke, director of MF, asked, "Mr. Fuller, are you going to join us? Why don't you come play? Everyone's been looking forward to your participation, isn't that right?" "Exactly! Come on, Mr. Fuller," everyone chimed in.
"All right, I'll join you guys for a bit," Zachary reluctandy agreed.
The employees cheered.
Under Skylar's lead, the group of people ventured to the standalone mansion at the back of the resort to play games.
This standalone mansion was equipped with a spacious living room, a pool table, a game room, a poker table, a home cinema, a gym, a bar, and so forth. It was designed specifically with vacationers in mind. Everyone settled down on the floor of the spacious living room, forming a circle. In the center was a green beer bottle-
Carlos volunteered enthusiastically, "All right. I'll go first. Let's see who's lucky enough to get picked first."

As he spoke, Carlos spun the beer bottle on the ground.
Everyone fell silent, their attention riveted on the beer bottle, hardly daring to take a breath.

The bottle spun a few rounds before coming to a halt, its mouth pointing toward a male colleague.
Having dodged a bullet, the other employees started to rease, "Samuel, you sure are lucky. What'll it be, truth or dare?"
The male coworker, Samuel Zarate, didn't beat around the bush. He stated, "I choose truth."
Everyone began to bombard him with questions all at once.
Carlos cleared his throat. "Everyone, calm down. With all these questions being thrown at him, who do you expect him to answer first? Whoever spins the bottle will be the one asking questions." The others quieted down and looked at Carlos.
Carlos looked at Samuel, giving him a smile. "Samuel, are you still a virgin?"
The crowd erupted into laughter. The females were somewhat embarrassed, yet they still kept their gaze on Samuel, waiting for his response.
Samuel's face turned red, but after a moment of hesitation, he nodded slightly. "Yes."
Another wave of laughter erupted.
"Samuel, it's your turn to spin."
"Stop laughing! Just you wait, I'm going to make sure this bottle lands on you all," asserted Samuel, twirling the beer bottle.
This time, the beer bottle pointed toward another male colleague.
After giving it some thought, the man said, "I choose dare."
Samuel said, "I won't put you in a tough spot, just kiss the person on your right."
The person sitting to the right of the male colleague was another man.
The male colleague was particularly embarrassed, and the man to his right was even more so.
Amidst the raucous encouragement of the crowd, the male coworker quickly pecked the man on his right, then hastily stood up and declared. "All right, all right, it's my turn to spin the bottle." "Go ahead."
Lenora found herself in the midst of the crowd, observing as everyone around her became more raucous in their excitement.
The questions also became increasingly personal.
Someone asked, "When was your first time?" Another person inquired. "How long did you manage to hold on during your first time?"

Some people, fearing the difficulty of answering, opted for a dare. However, the dare was not something one could easily bluff their way through.
If one was unwilling to answer truthfully and also refused to accept a dare, then they would have to face a penalty of three cups of liquor.
There were simply too many people. To give each person a turn, it would take at least over 40 rounds.
Thus, Lenora had not gotten a turn so far. In the meantime, a few other female colleagues did have their turns, but the questions they received were somewhat more restrained. Carlos had just finished a dare. "Finally, it's my turn again. Let's see who it'll be this time?"
The beer bottle spun and spun.
Everyone watched intently as the bottle slowed down. Finally, it pointed toward a person who sent a wave of excitement through them all - Zachary.
With a sly grin, Carlos said, "Ah, Mr. Fuller, it's finally your turn. So, what will it be, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
So, I have to ask, Mr. Fuller, was Ms. Carston your first?"
Everyone gasped, quietly thinking how fearless Carlos was to ask such a question.
They were all ears, their faces filled with anticipation and curiosity, eager to hear Zachary's response.
Zachary subtly glanced at Lenora before replying, "No."
While he was initially in love with Susanna, he had never actually touched her.
He was born out of wedlock, so he was particularly restrained when it came to that aspect of his life. He would never allow himself to step out of line.
Fortunately, his grandparents were incredibly fond of him, and his relationship with Johanne was not as contentious as one might expect from half-brothers sharing the same father.
Therefore, it was only after he and Lenora were manipulated that he began to entertain the idea of marrying her.
"Then who was it?" Carlos immediately asked eagerly.
"You're only allowed to ask one question, and I've already responded."
The corners of Lenora's lips unconsciously curled up.
Back when she married Zachary, she was aware that he had once been romantically involved with Susanna. However, that was all in the past, and she had no knowledge of what had transpired between them. She also knew she had no right to delve into it. Now, knowing that they had never gone all the way in their relationship, she felt a secret sense of relief.
Disappointment was etched on everyone's faces. Someone voiced out, "Carlos, you shouldn't have worded your question like that. You should have directly asked who it was."

one expected it, but after a few rounds, the bottle's mouth once pointed toward Zachary However, this time, the person who posed the question wasn't Carlos but another male colleague. Following the crowd's suggestion, the male colleague asked, "Mr. Fuller, who was your first?"
After a few seconds of silence, Zachary said, "Pour me a drink."
No one expected that Zachary would rather choose to drink than respond.
Carlos couldn't help but persuade gently, "Come on, Mr. Fuller, are you really not considering sharing? Do you really want to drink?"
"Yes.
"Why won't you say? Is it because this person has a special status or something?"
"That's a secret."
Zachary rose to his feet, taking a bottle of wine from one of the employees. He poured himself a glass and drank it all in one go. Without pause, he downed two more glasses, then held up the empty glass for all to see. "Is that enough?" "Aww..."
When they didn't uncover the information they wanted to hear, the crowd was somewhat disappointed.
If it had been a casual acquaintance or even an ex-girlfriend, there was no need for secrecy.
Could it be that he was keeping it a secret because they knew that person?
The next round began.
Two rounds later, the bottle unexpectedly pointed toward Lenora.
Lenora started to feel anxious.
The one to ask Lenora her question was the carefree male colleague on the bus. "Ms. Wilkin, would you prefer truth or dare?"

"Truth." Lenora said.
"All right then, I won't ask about you anymore. Let's talk about your boyfriend instead. I've heard you have one. How long is he?"
In an instant, the tips of Lenora's cars turned a bright shade of red.
This question had been posed before. It was hard to say how the person being asked felt about it, but those watching the spectacle were thoroughly entertained.
