WRITER'S POV

NINE MONTHS LATER...

Alpha Leo was pacing up and down, sweating profusely, with a worried look on his face. His hands kept going from his head to his mouth and his waist; he was worried, and his expression was a shred of evidence of that. "You need to calm down. She will be alright," Lord Maddison tried comforting him. He wanted to sit down, but he shook his head and sat up. "You can't keep pacing around like this; you need to calm down," he said again, but Alpha Leo shook his head. "I can't calm down. You can't understand, Maddison," he said with a concerned voice, and continued pacing around without bothering to stop at all.

Lord Maddison lowered his head and sucked in a deep breath. "I know," he said as he raised his head and walked over to Alpha Leo. "I know I wasn't there when Nora was giving birth to Julius, and I can't understand what you are feeling right now, but I want you to know that Ava will be fine. Nora is there, taking care of her, and you know how competent she is. She will take care of any problem that might arise, and Ava is strong too. Ava is a very strong woman; I don't think she will want you to worry this much about her, really," Lord Maddison explained as he put his hand on Alpha Leo's shoulder to stop him from pacing around, and Alpha Leo faced him. His eyes were filled with concern, and his lips kept trembling as he looked at Lord Maddison. "Can I go in to see her? I want to see her. My mind is not at rest like this, but I know I will feel better if I'm beside her," he suggested, but Lord Maddison shook his head.

"You can't do that. You should let her call you first, and I'm sure she will do that when she needs you around. You can't go in there without her priority," he advised, and Alpha Leo groaned. "Then, what can I do? Why can't I do anything for her at all? I can't just keep standing here while my wife is laboring in there all day like this... I'm so scared; I want to do something for her. What do I do?" he questioned with frustration in his voice, and Alpha Leo sighed. "I think the best thing you can do for her right now is to be calm. Wait, patiently for her, and when she is done, she will call you in. You don't have to keep panicking around like this. It's not helping matters at all," Lord Maddison replied. He understood that Alpha Leo was worried about his wife, and he wanted to see her, but he sincerely didn't think that pacing around on the verge of tears would do anything to help at all, and it was giving him a headache as he watched Alpha Leo pace up and down. Ava was a strong woman, and Lord Maddison knew this, so he wasn't worried about her, and he wished Alpha Leo would realize this too, instead of staying worried all day instead of rejoicing ahead of the delivery.

Lord Maddison was still in deep thought when they heard a baby's voice coming from the room, and their eyes widened. They looked at each other, and they both covered their mouths. "She... She gave..." Alpha Leo stuttered but stopped when he heard another baby's cry. He was confused, and he looked at Lord Maddison for help, but he was just as confused as he was, and none of them could explain what was going on to each other. They were still staring at each other when a nurse came out and walked over to them. "Queen Ava has given birth. She gave birth to twins," she announced, and Alpha Leo gasped. He was stunned, and he couldn't register what was going on for a while, but when he did, he screamed inwardly and rejoiced excitedly. "Can we go and see her now?" He asked the nurse, who shook her head. "The nurses are cleaning the babies and the mother up. You can go in after ten minutes," she said and walked away, leaving the excited Alpha Leo and Lord Maddison there.

A few minutes later, Alpha Leo and Lord Maddison entered the room and were both surprised to see one baby in Nora's hand and the other in Ava's hand. "It's a boy and a girl," Ava replied as she looked at her husband with doting eyes. She was excited and emotional. "The boy resembles you but has my eye color, while the girl resembles me but has your eye color. They are so cute, aren't they?" She added, and Alpha Leo nodded his head as he walked over to her and collected the baby in her arms. "They are twins," he mumbled, and Ava giggled. "Yes, I knew about it, but I decided to keep it away from you because I wanted to see your surprised look on the delivery day." Ava explained, and Alpha Leo smiled. He looked at the baby in his arms for a while before he raised his head to look at Ava. "Thank you so much. Thank you for making me a father and the happiest man on earth. You just gave me two beautiful and handsome babies. I will forever cherish you and our children, My love," Alpha Leo promised as he stared into Ava's eyes, declaring his unwavering love through his eyes.

The two were still staring at each other when Nora cleared her throat to attract their attention, and they all looked at her. "I have news to share," she said, and turned to face Lord Maddison. "I'm pregnant, I'm one month pregnant," she declared, surprising Lord Maddison, whose eyes widened and couldn't replace his words for a while. He stared at Nora for a few seconds before he opened his mouth. "Are you for real?" He asked, and Nora nodded his head. He closed his eyes, bit his lower lip, and laughed happily. "This is great! Yes!" He rejoiced excitedly, and they all laughed.
