Nora's POV

We were both silent as he drove on. Throughout last night, he tried to talk to me, but I refused to listen to his words. I was angry and mad at myself for acting like a horny bitch. After what happened in the woods yesterday, Alpha Leo has been begging me, telling me the reasons why he couldn't touch me. I knew he had explained everything to me, but I couldn't understand why I was still mad at him.

"Are you still angry at me?" he finally asked, breaking the silence. I frowned and turned my gaze towards the window, avoiding eye contact. "Can we talk about this?" he pleaded, desperation in his voice.

"There is nothing to talk about, Alpha Leo," I murmured, my voice laced with bitterness. He fell silent, respecting my wish.

After a few minutes drive. Alpha Leo pulled the car to a stop in front of the coffee shop where Lord Maddison was waiting for us. We both stepped out of the car and walked in. immediately I spotted lord Maddison sitting at a table, his back turned towards us. "Mine!" Lolita howled in my head, her possessive tone bringing a small smile to my face.

As I got closer, he turned around, his striking brown eyes meeting mine. A warm smile tugged at the corners of his lips, causing my heart to flutter.

"Nora," he greeted, his voice gentle yet filled with love. "You are here." He smiled, and I responded with a smile.

Normally, I was expecting him to act cold and angry like Alpha Leo did, but he didn't. Instead, he was smiling brightly.

I took a seat across from him, and Alpha Leo settled down beside me. The tension between us was palpable, but lord Maddison seemed oblivious to it. He reached across the table and placed his hand on mine, a comforting gesture that instantly eased some of my tension.

"I have missed you so much," Lord Maddison said, his voice filled with genuine love.

I smiled and took a deep breath, my gaze shifting between Lord Maddison and Alpha Leo.

Alpha Leo had an unreadable expression on his face, but I could see he was tense, probably because of the result, which I was restless about.

With a gulp, I took out the notebook from my bag and placed it on the table. I shifted my gaze to Lord Maddison, who smiled, and then to Alpha Leo, who had a blank look on his face. As I held Alpha Leo's gaze, I couldn't help but feel worried about the score I should give him. This weekend with him was perfect, apart from the fact that he refused to touch me, but I knew he had a good reason for doing it.

Taking a deep breath, I opened the notebook and gripped the pen tightly, confused and anxious about what to write.

I glanced down at the empty pages of the notebook, unsure of how to begin. My mind was filled with conflicting emotions, and I struggled to put my thoughts into words. Both Lord Maddison and Alpha Leo waited patiently, their eyes fixed on me, their expectations evident.

"Write what you feel is right," Alpha Leo said, and I nodded.

Taking another deep breath, I finally started writing, my hand trembling slightly.

"I'm scoring Alpha Leo with a score of 90 percent out of a hundred," I said and wrote it down before lifting my gaze to Alpha Leo, who had an unreadable expression on his face, which made me restless.

"Do you want to know why the ten marks were deducted?" I asked even though I didn't have a reason. But he shook his head. "That won't be needed," he said, and stood to his feet. He announced while looking at his wristwatch, but I knew he was lying. He just wanted to leave.

"I'll take my leave. See you tomorrow, Nora." He took my left hand and placed a kiss on it before turning and leaving, making me wonder if I had really given him the right score.

As Alpha Leo left the coffee shop, I watched him with a mix of disappointment and confusion. His departure left me with a lingering sense of unease. I turned my attention back to Lord Maddison, who was watching the scene unfold with a blank expression in his eyes.

"Nora, are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.

I forced a smile, trying to reassure him. "I'm fine, Lord Maddison. It's just... things are complicated right now," I said, and he nodded.

"I understand, but you can handle it, right?" he said, and I smiled weakly.

He took my hand from the table and squeezed it slightly. "I miss you, Nora. These three days without you were hell for me, and I don't know what I would do if you were taken away from me," he mumbled worriedly, and I smiled before responding. "No one is taking me away," I assured him, and he smiled.

"Let's leave here. I want to take you somewhere," he said while getting up on his feet.

"And where are you taking me?" I asked, also getting up on my feet.

"You will see," he smirked, and led me out of the coffee shop.

I followed him to his car, and we both got in. However, I didn't forget to look at the spot where Alpha Leo was parked to see if he was still there, but he wasn't.

A few minutes into the drive, I spoke up. "So, how was the meeting back home?" I asked.

"It was fine," he responded. "Everything went smoothly."

I nodded and rested my head on the headrest of the car. "And how was your weekend?" he asked, and I shrugged my shoulders. "It was fine," I said, and he smiled, holding my gaze for a moment before looking at the road. "Thank you," he said, and I turned and looked at him. "You didn't let him touch you," he said with a proud smile, while I remained speechless, not knowing what to say.

How do I tell him that he was mistaken? It wasn't me who didn't want to be touched, but Alpha Leo was the one who refused to touch me.
