Chapter 55

The guys were on him in seconds moving him to the couch keeping him locked in his spot by holding his arms and legs. Their wolves wanted his blood but one show of power from Moonlight they stopped and just kept watch. If I gave them the signal they would rip him apart without regrets. Olivia was shaking in my arms, but I wasn't sure if it was out of fear or her regrets replaying in her head.

"Answer your Luna," Duncan snarled baring his teeth in Tiberius's face. "Tell her why you would sell us out, her out, to a pack that beat her every day of her life! A pack that stole her from her family and lied about it her whole life." "They have..." He gulped using his eyes to search for a friendly face replaceing none he latched his eyes on me. "He has my mate."

"Bullshit!" Leo seethed twisting on Tiberius' leg until a pop sounded followed by a garbled screech from Tiberius. "You haven't found your mate yet. Tell us the truth."

"It..is..." He huffed between each word working through the pain of his now dislocated knee. "Found her... last year at the royal ball. Name is Lindy. She doesn't know...."

"She wouldn't know." I state calmly standing and walking over to the guys leaving Olivia to follow behind me. "Let him go."

"What? No." Lucas growled, holding even tighter onto their prisoner.

"I said let him go!" I yelled, pushing Moonlight forward. "Now!" No time for being nice when it involved my chosen family like Lindy.

The guys dropped what they were holding and moved back, each of their faces a look of anger and confusion. I knew I would be paying for this later but right now their feelings didn't matter. They would have to s**k it up.

"Explain. Now." I moved closer until my nose was almost touching his with my arms against the couch above his shoulders and my body was almost lying down on his. "I will know if you lie. Your Luna has some special abilities and right now I am thanking the goddess."

He nodded his understanding before he started to explain. I stayed put knowing that invading his space was throwing him off his game. He had been lying so much to keep his treachery a secret it was going to be hard to tell the truth.

"I went with a few other unmated warriors to the royal ball. No one there was my mate so I stepped outside to replace the kitchen and ask for a real snack instead of those small as cheese ball things they had." He laughed, tried to, but started coughing from how sore this throat was. "She was in the kitchen with a few working omegas. She must have been underage because I scented her two rooms down but even when I stood in front of her and introduced myself she had no idea."

"Truth." I nodded toward the guys before focusing back on him. "Why didn't you tell her? What has the pack been telling you that they have done with her?"

'Find me Lindy's ear that was sent to me. I linked Draco ignoring all his questions.

"My wolf made me promise not to. He didn't want to freak her out or start something that we weren't able to prove." He shook his head. "I wanted to tell her, to hold her, to kiss her... But my wolf was right. Too bad we weren't right in trusting someone from another pack when we were drunk and sad."

"That's how they found out and then..." He hung his head almost taking out my nose with his forehead before sobbing a yes.

"How do we know he is telling the truth?" Olivia asked, looking between me and the guys. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I know it's not my business and you have to reason to trust me but I want to prove myself. I want to help."

I smiled back at her as I moved to sit beside Tiberius, letting him have his breathing room. He hadn't lied yet so he deserved some room get more comfortable and share more.

"We have a lot to catch up on but before we can share that we need you to join our pack," Duncan replied softly, doing his best to make her feel comfortable. "We can't do that until we rescue Lindy, if we can."

"Rescue her?" Tiberius' voice boomed across the room. "What do you mean? They promised to take care of her and treat her like one of the pack unless I went back on our deal."

"They lied." Olivia shouted, swinging her arms around. "That whole pack is full of liars, cheaters, rapists, and pieces of shit. The only ones who are treated with respect is the ones with power and the whores who are f*****g all of them. They all deserve to burn." "And they will but first we save the innocent before we slaughter them all." ." I told her before turning back to Tiberius. "I want you to chat with the guys over what you have shared and how. I want you to show them any messages or recorded items you may have." "Why? What are you doing to do while we waste our time and let my mate stay in danger?" He yelled standing up over me.

I stood up on the couch, so we were eye level grabbing his throat. "I am going to go over anything and everything Oliva knows so we can map out the changes and replace a way in to save my best fucking friend! So shut the fuck up and quit bitchin. Do your part in this and make up for almost getting me killed and raped!"
